Snow Leopards, Siberian Tiger, Siberian Crane, Wood Bison (Buffalo), Peregrine Falcon, Whopping Crane, Canada Lynx (which has some special circumstances involved in it's listing), and the Beaver ( which was hunted almost to extinction in the 1600's).

The main predators/consumers that live in the taiga are probably bobcats, wolverines, black bear, and wolves. They usually eat deer, birds, and fish, and then those diet consists of plants.

Winter, with it's freezing cold temperatures, lasts for six to seven months. Summer is a rainy, hot and short season in the taiga. Fall is the shortest season for taiga. Spring brings flowers, the frozen ponds melt, and the animals come out from hibernation.

I personally would like to visit the taiga because I love cold weather. Cold weather (to me) is freedom. I love the wind in my hair and dancing in the rain. Other reasons to visit the taiga would be hunting (I hesitate to mention this because hunting is murder, but it could be useful to sombody.) There is also plenty of ice fishing in the taiga. There is also plenty of skiing and making beautiful snowmen. The taiga offers you a lot of privacy. You wouldn't have to worry about your neighbors calling the police because you are playing loud music. These are many reasons why I would want to visit the Taiga (besides the hunting.)

Katydids live everywhere. Some look like leafs such as the greater angle-winged katydid and others look like grasshoppers such as the common meadow katydid. Katydids eat leaves and grass, so look in low hanging trees or meadows or fields where the grass is kind of tall. Lightly drag your feet in the grass. If you are wanting to catch one, bring a jar with holes in the top, or some other container where it can breathe. Feed the katydid green grass. Don't give it too much, just several pieces. If the katydid eats all of it or the grass dies, just get some more. Hope that helped!
