As Wolverine prepared to publicly debut as a super hero, he was kidnapped by the Leader, as were Hercules and Karkas, all of whom the Leader intended to use against the Hulk. Wolverine and the other prisoners escaped, but coincidentally the Hulk arrived in Canada shortly before Wolverine. The Canadian military mobilized to fight the Hulk, but Wolverine received orders from Romulus to attract an unidentified party's attention by fighting the Hulk. Wolverine started a battle with the Hulk and a Wendigo. Wolverine's speed and maneuverability proved to be a match for the two plodding powerhouses, but after realizing Hulk was a more formidable opponent, he changed tactics. Teaming up with Hulk to take out the Wendigo, Hulk threw the Wendigo into a patch of trees and Wolverine then delivered the finishing blow. The Hulk and Wolverine kept on fighting, with the Hulk emerging victorious and Hulk abandoned the unconscious Wolverine, unaware of his healing factor. The defeated Wolverine returned to Department H. Still slated to take leadership of Alpha Flight, Wolverine spent weeks completing some espionage missions, even when various factors made him increasingly troubled by his service to Department H.
Marvel's The Avengers, or simply The Avengers, was released in the USA on the 4th of May 2012 though it had a world first premier in Hollywood on the 11th of April 2012.
It's based on the character of the Marvel comics.
In AD 965, Odin, king of Asgard, wages war against the Frost Giants of Jotunheim and their leader Laufey, to prevent them from conquering the nine realms, starting with Earth. The Asgardian warriors defeat the Frost Giants and seize the source of their power, the Casket of Ancient Winters.
n the present, Odin's son Thor prepares to ascend to the throne of Asgard, but is interrupted when Frost Giants attempt to retrieve the Casket. Against Odin's order, Thor travels to Jotunheim to confront Laufey, accompanied by his brother Loki, childhood friend Sif and the Warriors Three: Volstagg, Fandral and Hogun. A battle ensues until Odin intervenes to save the Asgardians, destroying the fragile truce between the two races. For Thor's arrogance, Odin strips his son of his godly power and exiles him to Earth as a mortal, accompanied by his hammer Mjolnir, now protected by an enchantment to allow only the worthy to wield it.
Thor lands in New Mexico where he meets astrophysicist Jane Foster, her assistant Darcy Lewis and mentor Dr. Erik Selvig. The local populace finds Mjolnir, which S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Phil Coulson soon commandeers before forcibly acquiring Jane's data about the wormhole that delivered Thor to Earth. Thor, having discovered Mjolnir's nearby location, seeks to retrieve it from the facility that S.H.I.E.L.D. quickly constructed but he finds himself unable to lift it, and is captured. With Selvig's help, he is freed and resigns himself to exile on Earth as he develops a romance with Jane.
Back on Asgard, Loki discovers that he is Laufey's son, adopted by Odin after the war against the Frost Giants of Jotunheim, in which they seized the Casket of Ancient Winters, ended. Odin falls into a deep 'Odinsleep' and Loki seizes the throne. Sif and the Warriors Three are unhappy about his rule and attempt to find a passage to Earth so that they can bring Thor back to Asgard. Aware of their plan, Loki sends the Destroyer, a seemingly indestructible automaton, to pursue them and kill Thor. The warriors find Thor, but the Destroyer attacks and defeats them, prompting Thor to offer himself instead. Struck by the Destroyer and near death, Thor's sacrifice proves him worthy to wield Mjolnir. The hammer returns to him, restoring his powers and enabling him to defeat the Destroyer. Kissing Jane goodbye and vowing to return, he and his fellow Asgardians leave to confront Loki.
In Asgard, Loki betrays and kills Laufey, revealing his true plan to use Laufey's attempt on Odin's life as an excuse to destroy Jotunheim with the Bifröst Bridge, thus proving himself worthy to his adoptive father. Thor arrives and fights Loki before destroying the Bifröst Bridge to stop Loki's plan, stranding himself in Asgard. Odin awakens and prevents the brothers from falling into the abyss created in the wake of the bridge's destruction, but Loki allows himself to fall when Odin rejects his pleas for approval. Thor makes amends with Odin, admitting he is not ready to be king; while on Earth, Jane and her team search for a way to open a portal to Asgard.
In a post-credits scene, Selvig has been taken to a S.H.I.E.L.D. facility, where Nick Fury opens a briefcase and asks him to study a mysterious object, which Fury says may hold untold power. An invisible Loki prompts Selvig to agree, and he does.
No, it is not true. According to the comics, Thor is the strongest avenger. In the 2012 Avengers movie, Thor nearly beat Hulk, but Hulk got distracted and started beating up an airplane. Thor is probably strongest because, Thor has the indestructible Mjolnir. As you saw in the movie, Hulk could not pick up the Mjolnir.
Iron Man starts off The Avengers wearing the Mark VI suit from the end of Iron Man 2. At the start of the third act, damage to that suit forces Tony to upgrade to the more mobile Mark VII, first appearing in this film, and featuring a rounded arc reactor, more yellow in the suit design and a jetpack on the back to allow him free use of his hand-based repulsor blasts while flying.
There were three Thor films.
Chris Hemsworth says his contract is up after Avengers 4 but he is open to maybe playing Thor again in a fourth Thor film.
The Avengers movie is coming out in 2012.
What is the date? It is either March 4th, or March 21st.
I hope this helps everyone!

-----dan ftw
Red Skull from Captian America
The previously entered answer, stated above, is wrong. The guy at the end of the Avengers movie is most likely Thanos. You might notice that the guy at the end has more of a purple-ish skin color, and has more of a rounded and fleshed out face; The Red Skull from the Captain America movie has red skin, and has a bony or skull-like face, hence the name Red Skull. Plus if you look at pictures of The Red Skull and compare it with a picture of the guy at the end of the movie, they don't look the same. If you do the same with a picture of Thanos, you will find that they look almost identical.

Hawkeye the archer (Clint Barton) is a hero who has worked for S.H.I.E.L.D and in the comics was also known as Goliath and Ronin. He has been a member of the Avengers during several periods since the 1970s. In the 2012 live-action film, he is mentally controlled by Loki using a powerful staff weapon, and fights against the other heroes.
Only one actor has portrayed the Hulk, Lou Ferigno, since the two Hulk films have CGI Hulks. Three actors have played Bruce Banner, Bill Bixby in the 70's TV series, Eric Bana in "Hulk" (2003) and Edward Norton in "The Incredible Hulk" (2008). Ferigno provides the voice of the Hulk in the 2008 film.
It is actually being filmed on Mars. It just looks like New Mexico.
The two word anagram is a proper noun, the name Nick Fury.
Nick Fury was the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a frequent associate of many Marvel teams, including and perhaps most notably, the Avengers.

Your comic book collection's value is reliant upon the issue , condition and popularity - refer to the Overstreet Comic Book Priceguide for pricing .
A better way of selling your collection is to determine the value of your books by purchasing a copy of the 'Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide' which is regarded as the industry standard when pricing your comics , make an accurate description of the titles , issues and condition of your books , approach your fellow collectors or local comic shop to see if they are interested (Remember that a comic shop will want to buy the comics at a price in which they can 'turn around' the books to make a profit.) , you can list your books with Ebay or the trade magazine 'Comics Buyer's Guide' and selling the more valuable issues individually will bring more money .
