Are any of the Duggars on diets?
JimBob was doing weight watchers and Michelle says she is a lifelong member. I saw Jana at the meeting as well but I would assume she just went to be supportive since she is a healthy weight.
Why did the Duggar's baby die?
Jubilee Duggar was miscarried because of many factors that made Michelle Duggar a high-risk pregnancy. Michelle had already had one miscarriage, a premature baby, 19 children, multiple C-sections and more factors leading to Jubilee's unfortunate passing.
Do any of the Duggar children have learning disabilities?
No. None of the Duggar children are handicapped. Josie Duggar has some medical complications due to her premature birth, but nothing has been released saying that she is mentally or physically handicapped.

Why did the Duggars decide to name all their kids names that begin with J?
- They named them all with J's because Josh was born first, followed by the twins Jana and John David and both began with J and didn't want to leave out a kid if named with different letter if they ever stopped having children.
- The first child was named Joshua after the historical figure. Jana and John David had just been names that they liked and thought sounded good together. After that the Duggars were afraid the next child may be their last and didn't want them to feel left out or excluded, so they were named with a "J".
- Because they really liked the name Joshua then they had twins and loved the names Jana and John-David. And they thought if they only had 1 more child they didn't want to leave that one out.

How did the Duggar family support themselves before the reality show?
The Duggars owned some Commercial real estate, they also owned a towing company and auto-body but sold it in the 1990's and began investing in commercial real estate and traveling, making money giving talks at different Christian organizations and homeschooling conventions. They also believe in not living beyond ones means which has allowed them to set aside great deals of money and invest it. They were very wealthy even before the reality show.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have worked hard to build income opportunities to support their family. Looking at their success, you could say they are rich... but it takes the entire family to make it all work.

What is the Duggar families religion?
- They are Independent Baptists. They watch TV but not a lot, and they do have a computer. I know this because they have said so themselves. I do not know for sure if they are Quiverfull, the reason, (according to them) that they want as many children as God allows is because they were using birth control in the beginning and miscarried their first child. They also follow the teachings of Bill Gothard, which is where they get the beliefs of women wearing dresses and having long hair and no dancing. Josh and Anna were married in a Baptist church.
- The Duggars also are associated with a Conservative Christian movement called Quiverfull. Quiverfull families try to have as many children as possible and do not use any birth control.They just have as many children as "God intends them to have."
Where does Grandma Duggar live?
Grandma Duggar lived in the guest room which was located down stairs. She was living there when Grandpa Duggar was ill. Not sure if she is still there.

Currently, three Duggar children have moved out (Josh, Jill, and Jessa) leaving 16 kids at home with Jim Bob and Michelle. But, Joseph has moved away to go to college, so there technically are only 15 children in the house right now. But he is not permanently moved out until he gets married, so if Joseph does not get married by the time he graduates, he is moving back in with Jim Bob and Michelle.
