Well, we all know Haymitches drinking problem and that is just what happened. Haymitch got so drunk that he vomited everywhere and effie escorted herself out of the room as quick as she could.

The main conflict is man vs. man, also known as Katniss against the rest of the 23 tributes. She fights against most of them in the Hunger Games for her life, and that's the main conflict.

Also a bit of man vs. self, as in Katniss fighting with who she is willing to kill and whom she doesn't want to kill. Man vs. nature in the way that the environment of the games is especially perilous.

The Capitol basically picks people to fight in the arena, sends the tributes to them, train the tributes, sets up the arena, and watches them die.

March 23, 2012 is the release date of the Hunger Games movie

katniss is sleeping in a tree which catches fire. she gets away, then flaming balls fall towards her. one skids against her calf, hurting her. she lays in a pool of water, soothing her calf. she gets some water in a bottle and rests in a non burnt tree, pooring water on he calf every few minutes. 5 kids and peeta show up, ready to kill her. but she is too high up. Cato climbs up, but she is too quick a climber and gets away. glimmer trys to shoot her, but she cant. the killers camp out beneath the tree, so katniss cant get away. rue is in a tree too, it turns out, and shows katniss a tracker jacker nest. katniss begins to saw the nest. while doing that, haymitch sends her some ointment for the burn. the nest goes down, 3 tracker jackers sting her. not enough to kill her. glimmer dies, katniss takes her bow and arrows back. cato trys to kill her and peeta saves her. she blacks out. THE END

She accomplished saving her and her families lives, getting District 12 bombed, saving Flavius, Octavia, and Venia, then stops the Hunger Games. There may be more, that's what I remember off the top of my head.

because he was #defenseless. if they were caught by another tribute they would most likely die. and #2.. peeta was practically dying and if he fell asleep he would die. he had to stay concious

She kills President coin shooting an arrow. But, she was supposed to kill President Snow. But instead she accidently shot President Coin. When she shot the arrow, President Coin fell over the balcony and falls to the ground, dead.

She belives he won't understand because he comes from a merchant family and hasn't had the struggles she has had, so she thinks since he had more money he hasn't been as reliant on other people as she has, he has never owed anyone the way she has.

The other tributes kill them so the other tributes have a chance of not dying

In District 12 Prim's name is pulled out but Katniss volunteers and Peeta's name is pulled out and no one volunteers.

Some Capitol children were trapped behind the gates of President Snow's mansion when a bomb went off, and they were all injured. A team of medics came to help them, Prim included. They didn't think another bomb was going to go off. But it did. The last thing Katniss saw of her sister was Prim with a terrified look in her eyes as she burst into flames.

Katniss had a mental breakdown. Earlier in the book, Gale had designed a two-shot bomb: A bomb that would explode once, then when everyone thought they were safe, would explode again. Katniss knew it was Gale's invention that inadvertently killed her sister, and though she still always loved him, it was never the same again.

I'd like to think that they'd name the girl after Prim... as for the little boy, I'm not too sure. Maybe Peeta Jr. :)

The little boy could be named Cinna, or after Katniss's father, or one of Peeta's brothers, or even Finnick, and the little girl could also be named after Rue.

Katniss left Cinna nothing, because Cinna is dead. However, if you mean what did Cinna leave Katniss, then he left her the mokcingjay suit as well as other costumes and his design journal.

It is said in Mockingjay that Gale gets a fancy job in District 2, so he doesn't come back to District 12 with Katniss. It is rumored that he felt guilty about killing Prim, and afterword things wouldn't be the same between him and Katniss, so he went to District 2 to start a new life.

Katniss is independent, headstrong and able to overcome hardships. She is also a bit socially inadequate, and doesn't quite get social cues like affection. Katniss is very strong when it comes to physical problems.
