Who is Taka from the Lion King?

Taka is a semi-official version of the character Scar, approved into a few books, but not approved by Scar's creators. Taka wasn't made by Disney but was approved by the company to the book universe only. Taka exists in a series of books called The Lion King: Six New Adventures, but there are other just as official books that contradict those books, and on the commentary track of the film, Scar's creators as in the film makers, have denied Taka by denying the Six New Adventures' books' main character Kopa. That's why it's nothing more or less but a semi-official version of Scar.

What is the main idea of the Lion King?

How did mufasa fall of the cliff?

Scar says to Simba while dangling off a cliff "Now, this looks familiar. Hmmm. I've seen this before. Let me think. Hmmm. Ooh, yes, I remember! This was just the way your father looked before he died. And here's my little secret, I killed Mufasa."

What happened to Simba's son?

No, not in canon/official story, as in in the movies. But only in the book universe of the franchise. Ever since the first movie was released, there's been a son in the book universe, but the first film's makers confirmed on the commentary track of the 1995 laserdisc and the 2003 DVD that the cub at the end of the film is Fluffy as in has no real name and no gender, resulting in its most official gender and real name to be the girl Kiara from the official movie sequel The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. To the film itself they simply redesigned the cub and its ceremony. Doing that is called retroactive continuity which is very common in works of fictional series. But the sequel's makers did use "Fluffy" for baby Kiara in their official movie trailer--which was in order to make the point that in the movie universe the cub at the end of the first film is indeed Kiara and no one else.

In the movies Kiara is Simba's first and only child. In the books Simba's first and only child is usually a son - as in, there are books wherein it is said to be a girl. And some books wherein the gender isn't confiemd. As in for the book universe, it totally depends on the author's choice. The books are only a collection of outsider-written "fanfiction", approved by the marketting device.

Are they're subliminal messages in the lion king two simbas pride?

Answer

Yes, Disney himself intended to place subliminal messaging in all of his films. Words such as "sex" is shown above Simab's head in a scene for a split second, implying the message in your brain.

Answer

This is an urban legend. Walt Disney did NOT intend to place subliminal messages in his films. There are NO subliminal messages in the Lion King, Aladdin, or any other Disney movies. The only exception is the Rescuers -- at one point, you can see a picture of a woman's breasts in the background. Other than that, these claims of subliminal messages in Disney films are completely false. See the Related Link below for the snopes.com pages that debunk all these urban legends about Disney films.

What are the Lion King songs?

The Lion King (the first movie in the series) is basically about a lion prince's ascension into his rightful role as the "Lion King". Mufasa, who at the time is the current lion king, tells his brother Scar about his new born son. Scar is mad because he wants to be king, but he cannot for as long as Mufasa and his son is alive. Scar then kills Mufasa by means of stampeding wildebeests and makes Mufasa's cub (whose name is Simba) think that he, himself caused his father's death. He felt bad and is told to run away by Scar to avoid a harsh punishment of death. This is only a trick by Scar to have Simba killed though. He manages to not be killed and is found by two other animals; a warthog and a meerkat whose names are Timon(meerkat) and Pumbaa(warthog). Then there are things he learns like how to catch grub(bugs and critters) to survive and a song. Then his lioness friend, Nala, finds him and tells him to come back cause he is the rightful king and their homeland is trashed by Scar and his minions. The ending consists of Simba fighting his uncle Scar, and though almost being killed, he manges to avenge his father's death by ultimately killing Scar and getting rid of his minions. Their homeland, in turn, goes back to being peaceful.

Will there be a Lion King 5?

No. There isn't a third movie in the Lion King story, so there naturally can't be a fourth movie in the series.

The release that was titled The Lion King 3 was simply the international title of the direct-to-video feature, The Lion King 1½ from 2004, so while it is technically a third movie it does not in any way advance the story from The Lion King one & two.
