I would have to do some research but I believe that they use a formula something like 3$ a day per person to figure amounts. Give or take...and we all know that in this day 3$ for a day of food for one person is not going to get u very far, unless u order from the value menu 3x a day and only order one item with water..LOL

Instead of buying diet food can you buy similar food that is not as expensive?
Yes there is. It is called smart ones and you can find them anywhere and they are not pricey. I have a breakfast bar(im not a breakfast person), a smart ones meal that is 300 calories or less for lunch, a 100 calorie snack, and a 300 calorie meal for dinner. You can add veggies if you would like. And they also have desserts that are wonderful too....I recommend the chocolate chip sundae.......I have lost 17 lbs. It is slow going but it follows the Jenny Craig and Weight watchers almost exact. Oh also I love to swim so it never feels like I'm working out...just extra advice! Always remember, reduced intake plus increased activity = weight loss.
