Yes most Walgreens locations accept the SNAP or in some states the LINK card. You will see if they accept it because they will have posted a decal on the location door saying they accept SNAP benefits since each state will vary by how they term the way their food stamp cards are addressed. For example if you live in IL we call our food stamp cards LINK. So if you have questions about if your food stamp card will be accepted call the individual location and ask if SNAP benefits can be used there. Just about every Walgreens accepts SNAP benefits.

So, make sure the store you are going to accepts the quest network of cards. Just like the visa network, the mastercard network, American express network or diners club network of cards, it is another network. Many banks, credit unions and stores also use quest.

Now, this was as of 2011, another chart shows that in 2012, 14.83% of the US population was receiving Food Stamp Benefits. Therefore of the 14.83% of the population, approx 36.6% were white.

Food stamps in philadelphia are issued on various days each month depending on the last digit of your case number and the number of business days starting on the first day of each month.

For example:

If the first calendar day of the month starts on a Monday then case numbers ending in 1 would receive their stamps on the 1st. Numbers ending with 2 would receive them on TUE the 2nd. Numbers ending with 3 on WED the 3rd. Numbers ending with 4 on THUR the 4th. Numbers ending with 5 on FRI the 5th. Because weekend days are not business days. Numbers ending with 6 would receive theirs on MON the 8th. Numbers ending with 7 on TUE the 9th.

However...

If the first calendar day of starts on Friday then case numbers ending with 1 would receive their stamps on the 1st. But case numbers ending with 2 would not receive their stamps until MON the 4th. And so on. But you can always call your local welfare office anytime the automated service should have a recording of all the payment dates for each month. I always call 215 560 5200 and press 1.
