I am not an accupressurist, so I don't know how to describe this in the proper terms. I did, however, find you a good link to a specific website. Click on the related link below. It will take you to this site for detailed information.

Calcium channel blockers are available only with a physician's prescription and are sold in tablet, capsule, and injectable forms.
How many visits are usually necessary to the ObGyn for a normal pregnancy?
In UK you would normally see someone early (7-10 weeks)to book somewhere for delivery, whether at home, maternity unit or birthing centre, may also have an early scan if unsure of dates. Scan and blood tests at 12 weeks for Downs syndrome. Scan at 18-20 weeks for abnormalities. See Midwife at 20 weeks to discuss the above and general check. See midwife at 24-26 weeks for general check See midwife at 28-30 weeks for check and blood tests. See midwife at 33 weeks for check See midwife at 36 weeks for check See midwife at 38 weeks for check See midwife at 40 weeks First time mums would have another check at 39 weeks as more liable to get pre-eclampsia. Mums with problems (eg diabetic, multiple pregnancy) would have more visits and see a specialist. These visits have been worked out from research rather than 'it has always been done like this'. Here we try to personalise care so use this as a guideline to discuss with your own carer.
Is losing weight in the third trimester normal?
Yes, because the baby is bigger and squishing your stomach so there is less space for your food, which often makes you not very hungry and can cause morning sickness to come back again, hence weight loss Always call your OB, remember they have the degree. The answer is NO. The baby is growing and also putting on more weight IF you are eating normally/there hasn't been a change in your eating. A lot of people do lose weight though. I certainly did and many other people I know did. I was told it was normal and very common
What does it mean on a pregnancy test if the dot is really faint?
If the lines are real faint it could just be an evaporation line, however it can still mean pregnancy if the test is positive. The reason for a faint result could be that you 1) did not use your morning urine or 2) drank a lot of fluids prior to taking the pregnancy test. It is important not to do that because it will dilute your urine causing your hCG levels to be lower as well. For best results when taking a pregnancy test:
* Take the test in the morning, if possible, because your hCG (pregnancy hormone) levels are at it's highest * Don't drink a bunch of fluids before taking the test because it will dilute your urine and can affect the results * Take the test no more than 1-2 days before expected period. Although some test say that you can see results up to 5 days before your missed period the percentage of accuracy is very low. * urinate for as long as possible on the foam like strip * wait for the results
Can anyone describe a miscarriage 5 weeks into pregnancy?
Heavy bleeding and mentrual like cramping are signs of a miscarriage. one or both of these symptoms may be present.
I just got comfrimation today that i was having a miscarriage, i found out last week i was pregnant on Sunday that i was 4 weeks. This Sunday i was 5 weeks pregnant. I woke up Monday and felt like i had blood on my mini pad sure enough i went to the bathroom and there was blood and blood cloth the size of a plum or tangerine. i had no pain i was just scard i went to the doctors and they checked my cervix and tey said it was still closed and hd my usterus and it didn't hurt. So i was sent to a blood test that day to measure the preg hormone the result was 33 and then he told me to go back on wedsday(today) and the result was 8.0 so they told me i wasn't pregnant that i lost it. The bleeding was moderate no cramps but lots of mini cloths tissue like but not big like the one on monday..
your baby does not feel anything. the pain is limited to only you. pain after a root canal is normal for up to a week. If the pain does not start to diminish though after a week you need to call your dentist and maybe get on an antibiotic.
Do herbs such as slippery elm help induce labor?
Slippery elm is known to cause contractions and could perhaps induce labor. Taking herbs while pregnant, especially if not under the direction of a professional who knows all of the benefits and risks, could be very dangerous, though.
From what I've read, ganoderma is safe and actually positive for your pregnancy up to about three weeks before delivery and three weeks after delivery. And I quote: "...the fungus insignificantly dilutes blood and it is not recommended to take its products 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after operations and deliveries. Dilution is not very noticeable in everyday life - even after a cut and it is in no way dangerous to life."
Because we are at a higher risk of clotting during pregnancy because our blood is thicker, I can see how this wouldn't be an issue until one was close to their delivery date. Other than that, ganoderma has no known side effects, and has proven to be a healthy supplement for both mommy and baby. :)
Is compleatly normal...Hormones from being pregnant cause the mothers body to become unbalanced...Some wimen get it in the first trimester, some get it there whole pregnancey and other don't get it at all...But in all cases it is compleatly normal...Just remember to stay hydrated and if you vomet for more then 24hrs be sure to talk to your doctor to see if he/she is wanting you to go in and make sure you are still hydrated enough
Is it normal to have a lot of gas when you are a week and a half pregnant?
Yes it is. Besides your hormones changing you are going to realize as each month passes that there will be certain foods like you've been able to handle before that will give you indigestion or gas and this doesn't even include the cravings you're going to get! LOL Congratulations!
Can you go into labor at 30 weeks?
Ask your doctor.
i lost my son at 26 weeks due to water breaking, your child will NOT live if born this early!
