How many hours of sleep should a 12 year old get a night?

Children should get about 8 - 11 hours sleep every night. Going to bed at around 8.30pm at the latest and usually awaking around 7 to 8am. At the age of abour 12 or 13 children tend to start wanting to go to bed later and get up later. This is OK. Melatonin which is a drug inside of you that makes you sleep is released later. So this is why we always want to sleep in!! The best thing to do is try to keep your sleeping patterns the same every day - don't always go to bed at a different time. Light is the best way to reset your melatonin level. If you are having trouble getting to sleep then at night time make sure your room is completely dark and in the morning make sure everything is really light, that way your body will be aware of the time and your melatonin level we will reset and you will hopefully get to sleep earlier and get the 9-11 hours of sleep you need EVERY night.

How do you convert 2.6 seconds into milliseconds?

The milli- prefix means thousandth or 1/1000 = 0.001

→ 1 second = 1000 x 1/1000 second

= 1000 milliseconds

Therefore to convert 2.6 seconds into milliseconds, multiple it by 1000.

How often will a calendar repeat itself?

This is variable, it depends on the way leap years fall in between any two given years.

For example, Christmas of 1990 was a Tuesday but because of the occurrence of the leap year in 1996, Tuesday got skipped over and didn't occur again until 2001.

However, since there are 2 leap years between 2007 and 2012, there is as few as five years between 2 Christmases falling on Tuesday (one in 2007 and this coming Christmas).

Between the year falling after a leap year and six years later (e.g. 2001), since there is only one leap day between these years (2004), the Christmases of 2001 and 2007 were both Tuesdays and similarly, since there is only one leap year in-between 2012 and 2018 (2016), Christmas 2018 (six years later) will fall on EXACTLY the same day of the week as it will in 2012 (bear in mind that the 2018 calendar will not match exactly with a 2012 calendar, as 2018 only has 365 days, whilst 2012 has 366 days).
