SETTING THE TIME.

Press [L2] to move through the modes. When the time display flashes, you are in the correct mode to set the time. The hours first, then the minutes and seconds.

Press [R1] to advance the numbers, [R2] to go to the next.

Press [L2] to save your settings. [L1] is not used; it's the light.

SETTING THE DATE AND DAY. After setting the time (seconds flashing) push [R2] to move though time, backwards, to date, [R1] to set day, [R2] to move to month [R1] to set the month. Push [R2] to get to the day of the week, then [R1] to change. [L2] to end.

I bought my Timex watch in 1999. It's 2012 now, and it still goes strong. It uses CR2012 battery, which is not manufactured (but I can buy on ebay). It has a steel bezel and steel band.

Go to the alarm and hit the top right button the one that says start/stop and hit until the ALM goes away on the bottom.CH means it will beep every hour. So do get rid of that you just keep clicking until the one you want to dissapear.
what you do is press the mode button twice or until you see AL in the corner. then you press start/stop once then the alm at the bottom will go off and if you want it to not chime or ch press start/stop again. now press set and you are done!!! THANK YOU!!!

How much it costs to fix a watch varies. It can cost anywhere from 30 to 100 dollars depending on what needs fixed.

Not sure how to disable/enable on a T276B, but on a Timex T307S, you do the following:

1) make sure the clock/radio is OFF.

2) press the "Mode"/"DST" button (it's the same button) for two seconds.

NOT intuitive. Hopefully that works for you.

Sometimes you can't do it yourself. It takes a special tool that only a jeweler has. Turn over the back and if it has little notches that takes a special tool. If it is flat you maybe able to pry it off. There should be a little indentation along the edge. Take a small jewelry screwdriver and pry the back off on that indention. If that doesn't come off right away I would take it to a jeweler before you ruin the watch. Some watches aren't worth getting a battery. Just get a new watch.

In order to reset the time on the Timex Ironman Watch, locate the mode button and press it until the time and date show.
