On the 95 model previa/estima the turn signal relay is loacted just under the drivers side dash arae.
Located on the right hand side of the footwell
On my Previa 1996 UK spec i found the flasher unit at the back of the speedo.you need to remove the radio housing then you will need to remove two screws which hold the clock outer bezel, remove carefully.there are four screws holding the clock. When you have removed the clock wala you will see it in front of you. it took me a week to find it. they don't tell you where it is in the workshop manual.
Good luck Ivor (imccann)
its on the front of engine just above aux.shaft easy to get to but you have to raise the vehicle saftly and get under it to see it
Sounds like water ingress, possibly in the fuse box area.
how to replace a heater matrix in a toyota previa
Hi im Steve from bellwood, Illinois
i was reading some info and it seems sometimes a delay like this may sometimes be your fuel filter needing to be changed, it could be your fuel pump or something in the electrical system. Try small things first like checking fuses and your battery voltage.
I'm no mechanic but I hope that gives you a start a great guy I've seen online giving advice is Ted Ritter-All experts
check the ground connection for the battery it may not start;caused by a bad connection and when get hot after a few minutes it will start
There are a number of reasons why your Toyota Previa will not start. You should ensure that the battery is working properly, that the engine is able to pump fuel and if you cannot resolve the problem, you should call a mechanic.
it's under the driver seat, just tilt it back and remove the access panel and its right there. 4 bolts and a few lines and the throttle linkage
i found out that synthetic 5W-50 is an acceptable replacement for the super expensive Toyota supercharger oil
The jack is under the passenger seat. Under the car, just behind the front wheel and just in front of the back wheel are locations that are convex shaped with a circular "bump out". You put the "cup" of the jack around that bump out and then use the jack handle to operate the jack and lift the car. Besure to do this only on a level surface and don't crawl under the car without a secondary safety support incase the jack fails.
It sounds like you ECT ECU - which is your Electronic Constrol Transmission. You do not need a new transmission ECT is the control unit for the transmission and will need to be reflashed or replaced. Afterwhich your transmission will work like new.
Anything can be done with a welder, but the bolts do not lineup.
clogged cooling system, water pump failure - worst, cracked engine block. try warming up the engine for about 15 minutes, then touch both the outlet and inlet radiator hoses, if either one is cold, then the system is either clogged up or a water pump failure. If water level is significantly reduced every time you drive, then you have a leak somewhere along the system.
check thermostat not opening when hot
above your the climate control, there will be a cap.
look under the cap and you will see a button, then remove the cap.
you will then see your fuse box and use your owner manual to see which fuse is for your cigarette lighter.
White smoke coming out the exhaust is indication of a leaking head gasket or leaking turbo. Check the condition of your engine oil and make sure it is not milky white or has bubbles in it. Do not recommend driving it. Get it serviced as soon as possible. Good Luck!
i also have a 93 celica gt and my was doing the same thing i could start it only with my foot to the floor and the problem with mine was stuck mechanical lifters so you should take the valve cover off and check the lifters
