The cheapest way to get from Minneapolis to New York City is by bus. Greyhound bus.

The price of a bus ticket depends on the fare type purchased (example: refundable, non-refundable, return, one-way). Price confirmation can be obtained online or through your local Greyhound Operator.

It depends on where you're coming from, and whether you want to take the bus or the subway. The address 154 West 14th Street is near the southeast corner of 14th Street and 7th Avenue.

Assuming you want to take the subway (and because I know far more about the subway system than the buses):

You can take the 1-2-3 (the red line) to 14th Street and 7th Avenue.

You can take the F or M trains (of the B-D-F-M, the orange line) to 14th Street, at 14th Street and 6th Avenue, then walk one block west to 7th.

You can take the A-C-E (the blue line) to 14th Street, at 14th Street and 8th Avenue, then walk one block east to 7th.

If you're coming from the East Side, you can take the 4-5-6 (the dark green line) to 14th Street-Union Square, at 14th Street and Park Avenue, then transfer to the westbound (Manhattan-bound) L train (the grey line), one stop, to 14th Street and 6th Avenue, then walk one block west to 7th.

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is located at 11 West 53rd Street, between 5th and 6th Avenue.

Take the S shuttle train (color code grey) west across 42nd Street, from Grand Central Station (East 42nd) to Times Square (West 42nd).

At the Times Square Station, transfer to the Uptown 1 train (of the 1-2-3, the red line). Take the Uptown 1 train one stop, from Times Square (42nd Street) to 50th Street.

You will exit the subway on Broadway, at 50th Street. Walk north to 53rd Street, then turn right, and walk east to 53rd between 6th and 5th Avenues.

Take the Downtown A-C-E (the blue line) from 34th Street-Penn Station to West 4th Street.

Transfer at West 4th Street to the Downtown B or Dtrains (of the B-D-F-M, the orange line) to Grand Street (at Chrystie Street).

Then walk 2 blocks down Chrystie Street to 47 Chrystie Street, near the corner of Canal Street (Grand Street ---> Hester Street ---> Canal Street).

The address 2470 Nostrand Avenue is at or near the corner of Avenue K.

You can take the 2 train (of the 1-2-3, the red line) or 5 train (of the 4-5-6, the dark green line) to Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College.

Or, you can take the Q train (of the N-R-Q, the yellow line) or B train (of the B-D-F-M, the orange line) to Avenue J.

If you take the 2 or 5 to Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College, you'll exit the subway at the intersection of Nostrand and Flatbush Avenues. Walk 4 blocks south on Nostrand Avenue to Avenue K: Flatbush Avenue ---> Avenue H ---> Avenue I ---> Avenue J ---> Avenue K. If you walk 1 block and find yourself at Glenwood Road, then you're going the wrong way.

If you take the Q or B to Avenue J, you'll exit the subway at Avenue J between East 15th and East 16th Streets. Walk 14 blocks east on Avenue J to Nostrand Avenue (this sounds like a lot, but they're short blocks, so it's actually only a little more walking distance than the Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College stop).

Walk 14 blocks east to Nostrand Avenue. The streets should be going in ascending order: East 16th ---> East 17th ---> East 18th, etc. If you walk 1 block and find yourself at East 14th Street, then you're going the wrong way.

When you get to Nostrand Avenue, turn right, and walk 1 block south to Avenue K.
