I personally hate wearing pants. Skirts are comfortable and cute. When you're hot they keep you cool and when you're cold they keep you warm. They are also typically easier to move in than jeans.

Shemale is a very rude term for a male to female transgender person that has not or will not under go sex reassignment surgery but has feminized their body. During fertilization most male to female go through hormone replacement therapy which with in a month will totally and permanently make the individual sterile. If the individual does not go through hormone replacement therapy then yes it is possible for the "shemale" (such a rude term) or "transgenderist" can conceive a child with a women. As far as marriage that is complicated. Legally the transgenderist is male and can get married to a women but there are situations that are different.

Technically yes. If the trans woman was born intersex and has a uterus and ovaries, but was born with a pe nis, and the ovaries and uterus still work, and the pe nis was reconstructed to allow access to the uterus, then yes. In that very rare case, a trans woman can get preg nant. In all other cases, no trans women can not get preg nant

No. If said person is physiologiacally a male and you are as well, or physiologically a female and you are female, and you are attracted to them, that does not make you gay. You MAY be gay, but that doesn't mean anything. If anything it means that you have an open mind and think its on the inside that counts, and are attracted to the person for what they are on the inside.

Many "shemales" are in the process of changing their sex. Some of them are bisexual; most aren't.

Normally if your a boy and a girl which is not that common (I may be wrong it might be common I would have to do research on it). I would classify you as a transwoman.

If you mean that you have a combination of male and female anatomy (e.g. have a penis and breasts, or a penis but no testicles, or a clitoris and testicles, etc.), then that is called "intersex."

Unlike people with mental disorders, a transgendered person has the same thoughts and feelings as anyone else, and should not be treated as someone who has anything less than full mental faculties.

Yes, it is. I do not know any FtM's personally, but i have heard that the surgeries for FtM is less realistic than those for MtF.

As with MtF's, FtM's are reccomended to see a phycologist, to get a reccomendation, to give an endocrinologist for hormones.

As for the surgeries for FtM's they are:

Mastectomy - Removal of the breast

Hysterectomy - removal of the uterus

Phalloplasty - The surgery to create a penis (usually from the enlarged clitoris caused by the male hormones)

There is no exact timeline. Some transmen transition socially without hormones or surgery. Those transitioning medically may choose to have top surgery and not do hormones, or choose to do hormones and not have surgery. In some states it is possible to change gender markers on your id with a doctor's letter. To change federal id you must have a surgeon's letter. Bottom surgeries include hysterectomy, phalloplasy, and meditioplasty. There are several resources online for transmen looking to medically or socially transition.

I think the most important thing, is that there IS no consistent "legal definition" of sex or gender, in almost any jurisdiction. The primary things that are associated with this are: 1. Primary legal id. In the USA this is a drivers license or non-drvers have an identity card. In the UK, this is the birth certificate. 2. Local jursidction specifics A. in California , the drivers license can be updated with a "DMV" form, if the person has a letter from their doctor. Federal versus state regulations. In the USA, this is mainly the social security record. So, a more specific question that can be answered is: Is it possible for a pre-op trans-girl to get her Driver's license and Social security records changed from M to F. Possible? yes Easy,no The usual ways involve getting a orchiectomy(castration) getting a court ordered name change, and being very believable and convincing when dealing with specific clerks. I have had one friend tell me that when SHE did it all she just pretended it was all a little typo, and could they fix that up please. At the opposite end. A born woman in south africa, DID get her legal id done with a typo, and tried to get that fixed and was told that she would have to have a official letter from her sex change surgeon. Crazy huh? So,the big deal, is that it is very inconsistent from one jurisdiction to the next.

* As disappointing and perhaps disturbing this may be for you realize this could be a phase. Many young children (ages five to twelve) will try on their sister's clothing simply out of curiosity. This does not mean your son his transsexual. If your son is 10 years or older sit down and communicate with him. Ask him right out why he prefers to wear his sister's clothing. It may be curiosity, but if he feels better dressing as a girl then get him psychological counseling to be sure he prefers being a girl and it's just a phase he is going through. One man who wrote to me to help with my survey drove to a nearby town to post his anonymous letter. Many say they don't understand why women can wear male clothing - but men can't wear female clothes.

* Some wives are scornful and dismissive. Others are patronising and refuse to try and understand. Time and time again I have read pitiful letters from transvestites whose wives `allow' them to dress for one hour a week - as long as they do it in secret.

* Happily, just over a third of wives and girlfriends actively help their men dress as women by helping with make up and clothes. Many women admit they get a sexual turn on from seeing their male partner in silky, feminine clothes. It is common for transvestites whose partners do approve to have sex while dressed as a woman.

* The vast majority of transvestites are heterosexual.

* The average transvestite spends 12 hours a week dressed as a woman - but would like to spend 70 hours a week (rather more than half the `waking' week) dressed in feminine clothes.

* A growing number of men have discovered that putting on stockings and a frock is the quickest way to escape from the stressful responsibilities of being a man. I have little doubt that more men would live longer if transvestism was more widely accepted. I believe that transvestism is one of the least harmful of all hobbies and one that no man should feel ashamed of. It is, I believe, a perfectly acceptable way for any man to escape from the day to day stresses of being a man in a stressful world. It's fun and clearly gives a lot of men a great deal of pleasure and it is difficult to think of any activity which is less likely to do harm to anyone. Men who dress in womens' clothes bring out a normal, healthy part of their own femininity, broaden their outlook on life and enjoy a temporary respite from the responsibilities and demands of being male. I'm always sad to read of the number of women who do not accept their husband's crossdressing. Time after time I have opened letters from men whose wives have treated them horrendously badly. I think it is appalling that any woman should have the nerve to say to her partner: `Oh, well if you must then I suppose you must - but you can only do it for an hour a week and you must make sure that the curtains are drawn and that I'm well out of the house and by the way I don't want to see any sign of your silly women's clothing and so on when I get back.' No woman would, I hope, dare say anything like this to a man who took up golf or model making. I think it is sad that transvestism should be regarded as so much more horrendous than anything else - though I believe that deep seated and completely false prejudices are probably at the root of it all. Many women probably assume that most transvestites are either homosexual or else candidates for sex change surgery. But, on the whole, there is a huge difference between transvestites and transsexuals. Transsexuals are like golfers - they lose their balls. Transvestites are keen to keep theirs. My survey has made it absolutely clear that the vast majority of transvestites are heterosexual and happy to be men. (Curiously, crossdressing is so misunderstood and commonly reviled that some women would doubtless prefer it if they found out that their husband was gay or wanted to change sex.)
