No. They at some point begin the process of transition to a female (for any number of reasons) and before they have the surgery to give them the female genitals, that is where they stop. This is why you will sometimes hear them called "pre-op", as in pre-operation.

The people who you may have been thinking about are transgender people, who; are entirely different from their glamorized counterparts. Transgender people are born with physically similar traits to both male and female, and are usually raised as the gender for which they are best "formed." Yes they do. Just as much as it would hurt for any normal guy. Though years of hormone therapy shrink the testicles to a diminutive size, they still retain all the nerve endings, connections and physical structures one finds in a normal pair of testicles.

This also depends on the kind of shemale you're talking about. If it's a post-op, she's had her testicles removed and the pubic area converted into something that very closely resembles natural female genitalia. In that case, there are no testicles to hurt and she will not feel any pain other than what a natural born woman would if she received a blow there.

No. A hermaphrodite, or more politely, an intersex person, is someone born with both male and female organs. Some intersexed persons can later in life decide which gender they feel like and have the reproductive organs for the other gender removed.

A transgender person is born with either a male or female organs, like an ordinary man or woman. They are gender variant and choose to adopt a role other than that associated with their physical sex of birth. However, most don't get any genital surgery. There is a lack of discomfort with the body itself for the most part.

Then there are transsexual persons who feel they are in the wrong body. This is painful for them. So they live according to their true gender identity and have surgery to make their body and genitals match who they believe they are.

There is no more transgender people now than there ever was before however it is more open and known about now...alot of people now feel comfortable with 'coming out' and letting people know they are transgender whereas before not many knew about it and it was highly frowned apon.

Sadly you can not get this done "secertly". This is a long process that you have to go through in order to get hormone pills. You must contact you doctor and tell him about this. Then you have to see a psychologist for over a year. After this the psychology will give you a letter that states you are allowed to take hormone pills.
