A she-male is a derogative term for a biological male (chromosomal XY) who partially changes their body to the opposite sex, to make pornographic materials. Shemales might identify as women or men (or somewhere in between). They tend to only partially feminize themselves out of whim, fetish, or to make money.

Also, there are people in places where transsexual folks don't traditionally get sex-reassignment surgery, so they become eunuchs, live as female, and live in eunuch clans. However, they typically don't make up new pronouns. Male-identified eunuchs who get the surgery as a right of passage or by accident maintain their male identity. Those who get it for sex reassignment reasons usually take on the pronouns and identity of the sex they believe they are, not make up a new one.

Sadly you can not get this done "secertly". This is a long process that you have to go through in order to get hormone pills. You must contact you doctor and tell him about this. Then you have to see a psychologist for over a year. After this the psychology will give you a letter that states you are allowed to take hormone pills.

Morally, it depends on your religion and beliefs as to whether it is wrong. The Bible seems to prohibit this in Deuteronomy 22:5. However, many have explained that away. They may claim the passage was against pagan worship, that it was just for Jewish persons, or that the real issue here was role reversal, since the original language mentions specific clothing items as opposed to what the KJV says. The verse might really be saying for men not to wear aprons and women not to wear weapon belts. So maybe women out fighting while men were cooking by their tents would be what was offensive to God, not so much the clothes. The men and women really didn't dress that much different in those days unless they were in a specific role.

Personally, it is all up to you. Do be mindful of your safety while you are out. Not everyone is tolerant to difference and change.

As a Male to Female transsexual I am being administered estrogen and an androgen blocker (stops testosterone) before my gender reassignment surgery. After my surgery I will have to continue to take the estrogen for the rest of my life.

Depending on the surgeon, all that is being done and how complicated it gets, anywhere from $10,000 upwards of $100,000 (with facial feminization surgery, trachea shaving, laser hair removal, breast implants, hormone replacement therapy and more ...) It is not cheap and because insurance companies consider it cosmetic surgery, most of the time it comes cash out of your pocket (not covered by insurance..)

That depends on your definitions of gender and lifestyle. You may be thinking of orientation and not gender preference. In the transgender world gender preference is what gender you wish to project and which one you prefer to be treated as. In this situation a difference in lifestyle (what you do with your time) may come from spending more time on your appearance, more time with counselors, more time contending with work issues related to your gender difference. If you are thinking of orientation (whether you like the same or the opposite sex) then no gender preference doesn't change lifestyle. Both homosexuals and heterosexuals have many different ways of living: quiet and unassuming, loud and in public. Being straight doesn't make you mousy, being gay doesn't make you loud.

In my opinion, there are plenty of people who showed more courage than just changing their gender. The world is full of transgender people who do that sort of thing all the time, so it's not a particularly courageous act. What about the people who risk death to stand up for human rights, or people in dangerous jobs who work to save other people from death? Those people are truly courageous.
