What is tan theta in terms of sin theta?
Almost by definition, tan θ = sin θ / cos θ
You can convert this to sine θ in several ways, for example:
sin θ / cos θ = sin θ / cos (pi/2 - θ)
Or here is another way, using the Pythagorean identity:
sin θ / cos θ = sin θ / root(1 - sin2θ)
From the given information the value of x works out as 16
Where does the word balaclave come from?
I don't know about balaclave, but the name "balaclava" comes from the town of Balaklava in Crimea. During the Crimean War, knitted balaclavas were sent over to the British troops to help protect them from the bitter cold weather.
Can you have a pictue of a hectagon in 3 equal sides?
No, because there is no such thing as a hectagon. Unfortunately there are a few similar words and so it is not possible to guess what you meant.
Why is trigonometry important to carpenters?
Perhaps in figuring angles and bevels when installing mouldings or when figuring lengths of rafters in stick building. I personally never got beyond basic algebra in high school(and barely made passing grades) yet I have built hundreds of houses and installed a lot of mouldings at a lot of crazy angles and squared up a lot of foundations just using basic math and a lot of common sense. It might have been easier had I known trig but it sure did'nt seem necessary.

What do you do if a particular integral you want to evaluate is not listed in the table?
Two main options.
How is trigonometry used in land surveying?
Trigonometry is basically formula's to help you find out unknown sides and angles of a triangle.
Surveying is measuring land. But as not all land is equal so these formula's are used to help.
Application of relation between arc of length and central angle?
The relation between the arc of length and the central angle is that the arc of length divided by one of the sides is the central angle in radians. If the arc is a full circle, then the central angle is 2pi radians or 360 degrees.
Where did the word golf come from?
The word is first known in English from the 15th century from Scots. Although the etymology is uncertain, the most likely origin is thought to be from the Middle Dutch colf ("'club'").
How do you write y equals 4cos1over2x as a horizontal shift of the other function?
You cannot since the transformation is not a horizontal shift.
What is the volume of the triangular prism if there are four numbers on the shape?
Assuming that the prism is a right triangular prism and that the 3 of the numbers are the lengths of the sides of the triangle, and the 4th is the length of the prism,
Suppose the sides of the triangle are a, b and c units and let s = (a+b+c)/2
then area of the triangle = sqrt[s*(s-a)*(s-b)*(s-c)]
and so, if the length of the prism is d,
its volume = d*sqrt[s*(s-a)*(s-b)*(s-c)]
What is a vertical line look like?
It is a straight line that goes up. In 2-dimensional geometry it usually goes up the the page whereas in 3-d it is the line that goes upwards - towards the sky!
How do I do the following equation step by step Tan(30)x7.5 ROOT 2?
Correction: the problem is Tan(30)= x/ 7.5 root 2
