UFOs

I have wondered the same thing myself many times. With a little research I found that the disturbing news is that they do. But they are not biblical, instead contradict what scripture says. One example:According to one abductee, alien beings told the human that Jesus was created, and that there are many different 'Jesus' type beings.

The bible clearly states that Jesus was in fact not created but is eternal, with no begining and no end. There are many other examples such as this where scripture is altered to one extent or another.

There could be, but some say since the government knows that everyone knows of Area 51, and it's no secret despite the government denying it exist no matter of the high evidence of it's existence, they moved some operations to "Area 52" another military base in Tonopah, Nevada. Area 52 is not too popular and some say they moved most of their operations there.

Incidents of "unidentified flying objects" date to antiquity, where many observations were natural phenomena or optical illusions. The first use of the term "flying saucer" may have been in 1878, when John Martin of Denison TX reported that he saw a disc-shaped object moving at high speed near his farm.

I can't say first-hand because I have never seen one with my own eyes but from what actual eye witnesses say they have external lights the can flash or shine continuously. Probably comparable to a car's blinkers and headlights.

The dark and relatively featureless lunar plains which can clearly be seen are called maria (Latin for "seas"). They were believed by ancient astronomers to be filled with water. They are now known to be vast solidified pools of ancient basaltic lava.

Officially, UFO reported sightings are not available until early in the new year. So 2011 sightings won't be published until 2012.

At first it created quite a stir, but evidence weighs heavily on them being fakes. Some of the organs don't look right & some of the camera angles appear to be attempts at subterfuge. The film has actually been traced to someone now so it does look like a big hoax.

Some undoubtedly are, (drones) used for target practice for anti-aircraft gunners and pilots, without risking human life. and what more practical than simulating (future) targets such as UFO"s/ Spy satellites are another possibility, which was explored in, of all things the situation comedy My Three Sons. Plot went like this- Kid took a picture of a UFO. Father ( Macmurray, an engineer at an aircraft plant) takes the picture to a friend of his, a General in Army Intelligence. secrecy net clamped- howver in the fictional general"s conversation the UFO was a classified spy satellite called- of all things, MOONBEAM, hence the secrecy angle. maybe G-2 was not the best choice to investigate UFO:s which they were tasked with form many years, for example Major Quintanilla.

So few sightings are actually reported, there are no reliable statistics available.

There is, of course, no known and proven connection between UFOs (objects seen in, but not recognized in, the sky) and aliens. There is, in actual scientific fact, no proof that aliens even exist, let alone have the tech and poor taste to travel here.

It would depend on whether or not the aliens (if there actually were any) are hostile. There are no publicly known instances of anyone being hurt by a UFO, or of the existence of alien spacecrafts or aliens. One Unidentified Flying Object was in a sense responsible for a human death. A pilot, trying to chase what was later identified as a Skyhook balloon, went too high without oxygen, passed out, and crashed. But it wasn't the balloon that did it, it was his own carelessness in going too high when he knew that it was unsafe.

The name of that pilot was Captain Thomas Mantell (who was with the Air National Guard and at the battle of Normandy), and FYI the Skyhook balloon theory is still highly ridiculed by many people. A pilot with 2200+ hours in the sky is NOT careless.

It is easy to claim so, but pilots with far more experience have died of pilot error. There is simply no doubt that Mantell, who knew he had no O2 gear, flew far higher than he was supposed to without it, easily high enough to lose consciousness, and that the subsequent loss of his plane was entirely consistent with the plane lacking an effective pilot.

It is easy for some to scoff at the Skyhook balloon explanation, but not so easy for them to prove that Mantell was following something other than the balloon, which just happened to resemble in every way what such a balloon would look like. It should also be duly noted that since the incident in question was correctly identified by the other poster, the description of the event must have been accurate.

An unidentified flying object does not necessarily mean that they are containing anything. It may just be something falling some space, such as meteoroids and other miscellaneous objects.

If an object did fall from space into our atmosphere, it would most likely burn up and never touch the surface of our planet. However, if it did get through the atmosphere, the explosion could be colossal even if the remaining mass of the object was as big as a brick.

It is best to remember that no UFO has ever been known and proven to be an alien spacecraft. It's fun to pretend otherwise, but not scientific to do so.

The general public doesn't know this. We are continually told that there is no proof of their existance. This may or may not be the truth. But in theory, they probably build their machines the same way planes are made on Earth.

There is, so far, no proof that there are aliens anywhere at all, from anywhere at all. Just tall tales told without scientific proof. Someone has to be the first form of intelligent life in the universe, and there is no evidence that it isn't us.

Hmm... if you are going for just one change, adding a semicolon after the word UFO would be the best choice. I would add an additional comma after the word however though, if you can make more than one change.

Everyone at the convention claimed to have seen a UFO; however, no one had taken a picture of one.

There are no real statistics for UFO sightings. You can only compile information for sightings that find their way into official records. Many UFOs are eventually identified and therefor no longer UFOs.

When a person anywhere in the US sees something flying that they can't identify, who are they going to report it to; the military, the local airport, 911, or the local news. Each of those people may choose a different option. Who they contact and what becomes of that report can't guarantee that it will find its way into an official record from which statistics can be compiled.

There have been so many world-wide for thousands of years, it's impossible to name them all. The cases that are the most well known are the Allegheney abduction is very hard to dismiss. And Roswell NM is another. The eye witnesses were very credible.

the only way for aliens to live on Neptune is they have to be able to survive on a planet like neptune. it wouldn't be a very good choice unless the could live on a freezing and mostly gas planet.

seeing as the universe is so big that it has no end ( it never stops- ever) then i expect there are billions and billions of different species of alien life and many will be intelligent and with different ranges of intelligence.

It probably depends on the race of space aliens involved. As of yet, scientists have not found any evidence that space aliens exist.

It is possible that UFOs are alive. As they are unidentified it is possible that they are anything. They could be a strange bird, flying squirrel or bat, or some other unknown living creature.

The acronym "UFO" stands for Unidentified Flying Object"; something in the sky that the observer does not recognize.

Many people think they know EXACTLY what they are and aren't "unidentified" at all. They believe that "UFO" means "alien spacecraft", which is an enormous stretch of the imagination - but "alien spacecraft" is a lot more fun to think about than "We don't know".

Unfortunately, "alien spacecraft" is fiction; but "we don't know" doesn't make a very good movie plot.
