It was predictable. After 5 bladder infections, I finally saw another Dr.and he said that, although very rare, some women react to the extra estrogen and it makes the ureter weak and allows bacteria into the bladder. He advised to switch to different birth control method or use the mini pill, which only contains progesterone. I have used both the Depo shot and the mini pill and have never had a bladder infection since. Thank God for that doctors knowledge.
