I'd get her 12 roses. Get 11 real roses and 1 fake rose. Tell her "I'll love you until the last one dies." (The last one will never die because it's fake, but the other 11 will.) if you don't want to get her this than I'd just get her a box of chocolates and an iTunes gift card, or something like that.

You should do something nice for her, such as buy her chocolate or flowers. Also, you can write her poems, sing her songs, and even get her jewelry if you feel your girl is into these kinds of things

Just buy her a dozen roses and really big teddy bear. And maybe take her out to dinner or make a dinner at home. But keep it simple if you go all out she might think there is a catch to it.

you could also tell her that you love her!

Just do whatever you feel she'd enjoy the most. if it's chocolate, go for it. don't get caught up in trying to out do everyone else or the gift will lose all meaning. it's about how much you love her. not how much you love outdoing everyone else :)

well, id say flowers, but not boxed, those wilt to easily. get some delivered to her house or work place. never get a girl chocolates. she may love them at first, but then she will feel guilty about eating them and think she is fat. also, just spend time with her.

Turkeys had been brought to Britain from America hundreds of years before Victorian times. When Victoria first came to the throne however, both chicken and turkey were too expensive for most people to enjoy. In northern England roast beef was the traditional fare for Christmas dinner while in London and the south, goose was favourite. Many poor people made do with rabbit.

On the other hand, the Christmas Day menu for Queen Victoria and family in 1840 included both beef and of course a royal roast swan or two. By the end of the century most people feasted on turkey for their Christmas dinner.

The great journey to London started for the turkey sometime in October. Feet clad in fashionable but hardwearing leather the unsuspecting birds would have set out on the 80-mile hike from the Norfolk farms. Arriving obviously a little tired and on the scrawny side they must have thought London hospitality unbeatable as they feasted and fattened on the last few weeks before Christmas. The serving of the pudding was one of the great rituals of the Victorian Christmas dinner; indeed it was almost as much a ceremony as the creation of the pudding. The plum pudding, made up of suet, bread crumbs, raisins, and spices, was a family effort. On Stir-Up Sunday at the beginning of Advent, each family member took a turn a beating the pudding, making a wish, and stirring clockwise for good luck. Then a ring, coin, or thimble was tossed into the batter.

Until Christmas Day the pudding hung from a sack, then it was boiled in beef broth for eight hours. After dinner it was turned out on a platter, topped with a sprig of holly, set alight, and carried into the dining room.

The head of the household sliced and served it, asking a blessing on all who prepared it. Biting into the portion with the ring meant marriage, the coin, wealth, and the thimble, a happy but single life.

When someone you love goes for a month it's not easy to deal with. Your head is full of thoughts and emotions. Will she come back from New York? Will she and Ralph get married while she's there? How many Philippines will she meet and discover to be her cousin? I recently underwent a similar situation when a dear friend of mine stabbed me in the heart with an ice pick. At least that's what it felt like when this friend went to NY, stayed with her former flame coincidentally named Ralph, and who also coincidentally is of the Philippine persuasion. Still the paintballs could not explain the blue pigmentation I noticed in my skin. Nor could it explain the massive kidney failure I experienced last week. However, my decades long high sugar diet and not having drunk any water last week might have resulted in the kidney complications. In short, if a friend does to you what I described above odds are they are not your friend. In fact they are most likely a two-timing back stabber who only wants to suck your blood, in the case your friend has vampiric tendencies. My advice to you, my wikicommunity friends, is to close yourself off from the world, and eat lots of cookies. Cookies always make you feel better. Finally to answer the question posed above…not sure you can. Masculine and Valentine's are not complete opposites, but they don't go together like PB and J.

Make a gift. You can get a kit at a craft store or create something. Bake cookies and put them in a pretty tin. Draw or write a coupon book doing things for that person. All of these show you care put cost little.

well this might sound a bit cheesy but my boyfriend is really into his sport; and that being Rugby and Hockey, SO im thinking to get him a minature hockey stick/rugby ball and then write cute little messages and some of our sayings on it...just an idea but it could work. OR you could get him a suave watch not one of those all metal ones cause it makes it look like you've spent loads but just a plain watch with a brown lether strap in a black box is always thoughtfull. you could even get it engraved. basically these are my ideas i dont know what every boyfriend wants because each are different, but you'll have to get him something that he can relate to. :)

Every one I've ever popped has had a paper crown and a joke in it. :) Though, that might be more the brand. As for the actual toys, this year, we mostly had little figurines sitting around the table.

It depends on what he likes. Does he like jewellery, computer games, sports?? if so A ring or chain, a computer game or console, or a top of his favorite team. also depends on what you want to spend.

From experience, it depends. Sometimes, getting a present and not giving one can become awkward. You don't need to get something really extravagant, just a simple, heart-felt card and/or a box of chocolates would do fine.
