You can spread mustard seeds around your house, because vampires are obsessed with counting things...and they will continue to count until the break of light and they are forced to return to their dwelling place. They may also be mildly sensitive to having a stake drivin through their heart...just a thought.

It is probably just something interactive for the audience and sets the atmosphere, or if you would like to go into theories it could be a way to separate people into groups by "asking" a simple question, creating a harmless feud/provoking a debate or invoking fear- to choose between what you know and what's comfortable: life (Human) or the unknown and are you strong enough: death (Vampire). No matter what you choose, both humans and vampires struggle to survive in the movie, so it could be that the choice forces you to "favorite" one or the other, but by the end of the movie, you will realize that both species had it rough.

Well, first you meet a vampire, and then you talk to it like you talk to a human being, they were human before they became a vampire, you know, so they can still speak whatever language they spoke before, obviously depending on where they come from.

yes, i do beilive their are different types of vampires:

Australian breed: Vampires who have fangs, cant be in sun light, and are allready dead when they became vampires.

transilvanian breed: vampires who have fangs, cant be in sunlight,and can be living or dead when changed.

north American breed: vampires who don't have fangs, can be in sunlight, and are living when they become vampires.

north American breed(sub-speicies): vampires who don't have fangs, cant be in sunlight, and must be living when becoming vampires.

all vampires must take blood, and the quantity depends on the speicies.

While there are many legends about people who have drank the blood of victims because they believed it helped retain their youth (way back in the day), I can't say I actually believe in the existence of the stereotypical vampire.
