The guy has mouth cancer, gets part of his tongue cut out, and he still insists cigarettes have nothing to do with it. Van Halen has cited a metal guitar pick he held in his mouth as contributing to his cancer. Every footage caught outside everywhere has Eddie smoking marlboros cigarettes. His cancer has not come back.

Not sure who he is touring with but he mentioned at his last show is South Lake Tahoe that in 2008, he was going to do 60 shows to celebrate his 60th birthday (damn!!). I do know that he is playing with Kenny Chesney in Foxborough for the Pirates and Poets tour... When he played in Vegas in February 2008, he played his regular set with his band, The Wabos, then came out and played a few songs with Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony & Chad Smith.
