Should fish be eaten with peanut oil or fried?
Refined soybean and peanut oil have about the same smoke point temperature of 450-460°F or 232-238°C, which mean they can be mixed safely with the risk of lowering the smoke point temperature.
Unrefined oil should not be used for frying, as all the particulates considerably lower the smoke point temperature.
What another oil be used in a recipe instead of peanut oil?
If for baking, you can use sunflower oil.
Are made when manufacturers add hydrogen to vegetable oil in a process called hydrogenation.?

Can you substitute peanut oil for vegetable oil in brownie recipe?

Can vegetable oil be used as a salad oil?
Of course! Olive oil is the traditional salad oil in olive-producing countries, but sunflower oil, canola oil, safflower oil, corn oil, walnut oil, or plain old "vegetable" oil all work and they all taste fine. Read the ingredients on a bottle of ready-to-use salad dressing for ideas.
Most people try a few different ones until they find one they like that fits in their budget.

Which is a better substitue for corn oil in baking-vegtable or canola oil?
Canola oil is generally considered a healthier oil, so that's probably a better choice for that reason alone. Both vegetable and canola oil have light tastes and shouldn't interfere with the taste of the baked goods. I think the only oil I can think of of the top of my head that you wouldn't want to use in most baked good recipes would be olive oil, because it has a heavier taste.
How long can you keep sunflower oil before it goes rancid?

Is vegetable oil a bad conductor of electricity?
Short answer: Yes but it may take a very high voltage before a sizable current is conducted. Even air can conduct electricity but this takes millions of volts. When air conducts electricity in a storm it is called lightning.
Long answer: Electricity conduction requires electrons that move from atom to atom. At low voltages this usually does not happen very quickly except in conductors like metals or conductive plastics and glasses. Even insulators conduct a few electrons at low voltages but there are so few that it is difficult to measure at low voltages.
However if the voltage is high enough the electric field becomes strong enough to rip the electrons away from almost any material. Atoms that have some of their electrons removed usually form a hot vapor called a plasma. This usually causes a solid or liquid insulator to break down and it catch on fire. Also, vegetable oil can contain some water or salts or other impurities which makes it much more conductive.
How long will Wesson oil last opened?
I would use it for a year or so no problem, but some people might say to use it sooner. Not sure you'd notice any real difference though unless you're really sensitive to that kind of thing.
Is partially hydrogenated soybean oil an element compound or mixture?
Well, you know it is not an element. It is made of carbon and hydrogen to start with and I haven't seen oil on the periodic table.
So, we're trying to decide between compound and mixture. What is the identifying characteristic of compounds? They have definite composition.
Ask yourself, "Does this stuff come out the exact same every time it's made? Can it change and still be partially hydrogentated soybean oil?" I think you can see that it is still soybean oil, regardless of how hydrogenated it is, so it does change. Therefore it cannot be a compound.
That leaves mixture.
What country does vegetable oil come from?
There is a wide range of vegetable oils. They are derived from the seeds of many different plants eg. ground nut or peanut, soya, olive, colza, oil palm, linseed, walnut, hazel nut, coconut. In most cases the higher grade oils will bear the name of the plant from which they were obtained. Lower grade oils often intended for further processing such as margarine production are often referred to as vegetable oil without further description. Different parts of the world favour oils which are locally produced from plants which are easily cultivated in the local climate. Thus ground nut oil is favoured in West Africa, soya oil in N. America, colza oil in N. Europe and olive oil in the Mediterranean area.
Possibly the least eco friendly is that derived from oil palm. The extensive cultivation of this oil particularly in Indonesia is very destructive of endangered species notably the orang outan one of the world's most endearing primates.
Is vegetable oil denser than mouthwash?
Oil has a density of about 0.8 - 0.9. Mouthwash (which is naminly water) has a density of about 1.
So no, mouthwash is denser.

Is sesame oil good to help reduce cellulite?
In India, sesame oil is the primary oil used in their medicine system, Aruyveda, and it is often used in the home and for massages because many believe it dissolves fat. Western "home remedies" for cellulite will often site sesame oil along with others. I am not a physician, but I figured that the Indian perspective would be an interesting addititive to solving this question.
Why does vegetable oil not dissolve in water?
By itself no. Vegetable oil is what we call hydrophobic(fearing water). However if you add detergent it will separate each molecule of oil and completely surround them. Here it will dissolve in water.
Can putting olive oil or avocado oil in hair to condition occasionally make grey hair yellow?
Yes, I think so
No it will clog up the fuel filter unless the fuel tank is heated.
I have always re-used oils for other meats. I store them in 3 containers in the fridge one is seafood, one is sweets (funnel cakes, donuts etc.) the other is meats (chicken, beef & pork). The only thing I do different is use a sauce screen to strain the oil, never tried a coffee filter, I'll have to try it out and see how it works for me.
