Oxycontin (oxycodone) is just a stronger version of Vicodin (hydrocodone), so yes, you can mix them together. Just be very careful not to take too much and overdose.

i don't recommend it even though its possible. its alot more powder than you think and there is alot of Tylenol. i suggest cold water extraction its really easy and works everytime. there is a simple method you can find through Google stay away from large amounts of Tylenol its very harmfull to the liver and stomach and if your like me u might need that liver for other recreational things lol

Xanax would not show up as an opiate, it is a totally different class of drug. Xanax is a benzodiazepine and therefore would NOT be confused with Vicodin on a drug test.

I have been taking Ritalin (60mg) a day and Vicodin (hydrocodone 7.5mg) for appr. 1 year (due to cancer issues). All Dr.s and my pharmacist are not concerned with the combo. I have had no problems at all taking the two together. You can also check with any pharmacist if not comfortable asking your own. there are sites that have info if drugs are not to be taken together. Not necessarily. I've been on both, separate and in conjunction. Elavil (amitryptyline) is an old antidepressant with a lot of unpleasant side effects. Definatly not a clean drug. Vicodin (hydrocodone) is relatively clean, but still has undesirable side effects. It is very common for them to be prescribed together for pain management, therefore I don't think there is any actual interaction between the two. Adverse reaction would be due to one drug or the other. Assuming that you are concerned regarding the psychological effects of the two: Both drugs have euphoric properties, although different. Eight years ago when I was taking Elavil it was for migraines and always before bed. It always made me very tired and relaxed. Every morning I felt hungover and out of it, not in a good way. This lasted for about 5 hours. I had to stop taking it. I've been on Vicodin for almost 10 years for herniated disks (L4, L5, S1). It can make me feel energetic, social, and give an overall sense of well-being. Even though I know firsthand how dirty Elavil is I'm currently exploring the possibility of taking it again due to severe sciatica in which the Vicodin doesn't touch. Btw, if you take Elavil during the day you'll probably regret it. I did... Hope this helps and I hope if your taking medication for pain management you can find relief.
