As far as I know, there is no way to EDIT a contact in Skype. All you can do is ADD MORE to a contact entry (leaving bad information as-is) ...or DELETE it entirely, and then type it in all over again without making any mistakes. To make a call, one picked up the receiver -- with an ear peace and a mouth piece, attached by a protected wire to the desk set, which was wired into the AT&T land line network. The caller listened for a dial tone. Upon hearing the tone, the caller placed a finger in the holed wheel on the desk set over the number desired, and dialed the wheel around to the finger stop, and then released the wheel. One heard the clicking sound as the wheel returned, counting the number dialed: dialing a five meant five clicks.

Ya know I have been wondering the same question!! :P I think you can just delete the whole conversation that you had your history. That's how I would do it. Because sometimes people say something that you just want to read over and over and over again and you can't if its deleted!!! ya know wat i mean????? so just manually delete it because that's what I would do. (If anything inappropriate was said!! (-_-)

Yes, your Voice over IP provider will provide an adapter with a RJ11 female port. You can simply plug in you touch tone telephone into this port and it works just like a land line. I am not sure if a pulse type telephone will work, you know, the ones with the round dialers from the 1960's.
