THE DREAMS GET WORSE! I have been on strattera for one month now and my boyfriend has been tape-ing me on a recorder everynight because he keeps telling me I sound possessed. It is 6.a.m. and I just was awakened by my dad and boyfriend because my behavior is soo violent while I was sleeping. I feel as though I am still in the dream when I wake up. Very deep sleep. I just came to my p.c. and typed in "are nightmares a side affect of strattera which lead me to this e-page. I am sooo glad that I am not the only one. to my releif, is these posts. I am putting in a call to my DR. today. This cannot be good for me.....

This depends if you have ADHD or not. If you do have ADHD, it will calm you down, and it will be prescribed to you. If you do not have ADHD it will make you hyper, jittery, nervous, and sometimes a bit scary. It will NOT be prescribed if you don't have ADHD. In any case, you will stop eating or sleeping, and easily become addicted to it.

Just decreased effectiveness. Vyvanse molecules remain stable for long periods of times.

Yes, for me it does anyway. I find myself in the strangest and most depressed mood I've ever been in in my life when I come down from vyvanse. Good luck.

It will take a different amount of time for different individuals to titrate up to the proper dosing to specific situations that the drug is being used for. You will feel immediate effects from the drug......however it took me a solid 10-14 days to controll the proper dose. This did work.......but seemed to lose its properties through continues use. Very little Side effects.

Furthermore, it also depends on the type of drug test, and what the drug test is targeting; if the drug test is to test for steroid use, whether you have vyvanse in your system is irrelevant to the test.

No. Vyvanse is the brand name for lisexamfetamine which is a prodrug of amphetamine. Vyvanse is created in a way that it is not possible to inject or snort the drug to produce a high which makes it less abusable. It depends on how many drugs you have done in the past. If you are a lightweight and don't get prescribed them, then one should be enough, but if they are prescribed to you or you have done drugs for awhile 2 should do the trick. But don't take more than 3 because you might overdose.

Zyrtec (cetirizine) and Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) have no known major drug to drug interactions, and can be taken safely together. I began taking Vyvanse June 1st and so far have lost 24 pounds. I was overweight to begin with and needed to loose weight but had a lot of difficulty in the past. I don't think the meds. were 100% to blame for the weight lost because I made an effort to cut calories but it diffinitely helped. I was at a low-normal weight (BMI 19.2) when I started about 6 months ago and I've dropped about 20 pounds. Studies have proven that this medication is linked to weight loss.

Yes technically Vyvanse is a stimulant and Codeine is a CNS depressant...however, both of these are pro-drugs, which means that the active ingredient is not effective until it is metabolized by the liver. Vyvanse releases amphetamine once it is metabolized and Codeine is converted into Morphine once metabolized. As long as you are taking the recommended dosages and are prescribed both by the same doctor or doctors that are aware of each other, you will be good. If your intention is to abuse the two together, there is a chance that you might feel a mild "speedball" effect, which is simply a euphoric feeling one gets from mixing an opiate with a stimulant. This can be dangerous, however it is basically an EXTREMELY mild version of the effects produced when Heroin is mixed with Meth or Cocaine...which people do all the time and do not die from, but some HAVE...so if it's recreational use you are asking for...use at your own risk, but be at least be aware of the way the drugs work with the body...hopefully I provided you enough insight to do just that.

If if it is specifcially tested it can be detected. It generally is tested on the drug panels done on athletes by organizations that ban it from competition. This is generally for international competitions such as the Olympics. The NCAA is reputed not to, however this is unknown.
