Such as shooting them with silver bullets (but if that bullet is removed from the body the werewolf is revived), by using decapitation the werewolf will die, and if another werewolf bites a werewolf that bitten werewolf will no longer be a werewolf so (even though it's not killing them) that's one last werewolf to worry about.

Yes, some werewolves learn to control their hunger and some wolves eat wheat and corn all the time. Plus they eat a deers tummy filled with foliage. Since werewolves are not known to exist, they cannot be studied/questioned on their eating habits and preferences, ergo we are not sure.
