Are there real magic wand shops in California?
There are metaphysical/new age/pagan shops all over the world where you can purchase a wand.
The wands come in wood, metal, glass, and hundreds of combination of materials.
In my experience the best wands are made by the individual practitioner, using materials that are attuned to his/her specific needs and talents.
For stage magic there are also Magic shops that will have a selection for use as props in a show.
If however you are looking for a shoppe like the one in the "Harry Potter" fictional series, I am afraid you are in for some disappointment, unless one of the big companies like Disney decide to open one. Do understand however, that sort of shoppe would not carry "real" magic wands.
You are not under a spell. You should see a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist. Hearing voices and believing someone has put a spell on you are possible symptoms of schizophrenia.

Far as it connects with other religions it connects with all religions pre-christian but strangely enough it connects with Catholicism quite well, most holidays such as Christmas Easter and others are derived from pagan traditions. ever wonder what a bunny or Santa had to do with Jesus it doesn't. These are stories and traditions that originated in paganism the Easter bunny in reality has to do with fertility, Santa and the reindeer have to do with a mix of Norse gods and Celtic gods the deer Celtic god cernunnos, Santa is a mix of Odin and the Celtic holly king. witchcraft in essence is technically in this modern age a blend of many if not all of ancient pre-christian faiths, Christianity took many of those traditions and molded them into itself so that pagans would easily be converted.
Can the Benedictine medal and a pentacle be worn together?
The Benedictine medal is a devotional medal honoring Saint Benedict and the Holy Scapular. to wear a satanic pentacle with it would be very evil and would do you great harm spiritually.
Roman Catholic AnswerA pentacle and a pentagram are different words for a five pointed star. The pentagram usually refers to an inverted pentacle, often with a goat's head in the center of it. Unfortunately, although the pentagram is specifically a Satanic symbol, the pentacle is pagan and all pagan rites, even those not specifically Satanic, are based on spirits that are opposed to Christian worship, in other words, demons. Although the most successful demonic influences have divorced themselves from "demonic" and "Satan" at least in their face to the world. Avoid all of it, it is not of God.Pentacle before 1600 was used among Roman Catholics as a symbol of protection, that they believed to represent the five wounds of Christ. Still in some Roman Catholic churches built before 1600, you may find a pentacle engraved or as a window decoration. As an example, In Sri Lanka, you can still find a pentacle on the front top window of the St Mary's church dehiwala. After 1600 's the Vatican rejected the use of pentacle in any connection of the Roman catholic church. Since then the followers believed it is associated with the demons.
Pentacle now, is the official religious symbol of Wicca. Wiccans use the upright pentacle (inside a circle) as a symbol of protection. On the alter, Pentacle represents the element of Earth.

Ergotism is a condition caused by the ergot fungus. This grows on grains and causes hallucinations, convulsion, paranoia, and mania. Before people had the technology to store most food safely, stored grain would be contaminated by this fungus, and everyone who ate it would get sick without knowing why.
In 1976 Linda Caporael published an article in Science magazine which speculated that the Salem witch trials were actually due to ergot poisoning in the village. The symptoms that the Salem villagers described as being the result of witchcraft were some of the same symptoms that you get from eating ergot.
Are witches really on the earth?
First answer: No, they fly about two feet above it.
Second answer: Many claim to be witches. So, if they call themselves witches, maybe they are.
Question: But what is a witch?
In old stories they could cast spells on people and do magic things. Whether they actually did those things, it is very difficult (impossible?) to verify.
In modern times there are followers/practitioners of witchcraft, and doubtless some members of these groups call themselves witches.

Which animals are used for black magic and why?
Most people do not believe in dark magick as Witche's usually follow the threefold law which explains that anything released comes back unto you three times more powerful. So if its "black" meaning negative then spite would kick your butt. My advice is stay away from the negative sorts and use magick to aid you. Magick is like beauty...its in the eyes of the beholder. If you take magick to a dark place then its is black, others wise magick is positive. Mind ye be the law of three! An' ye harm none do as ye will!
