What was the Christian case against witchcraft?
The Christian case against witchcraft is based on the fact that nowhere in the Bible is witchcraft deemed to be acceptable. All knowledge flows from the Holy Trinity, thus witches and witchcraft are products of Satan.
Is there a spell on becoming a good witch?
A witch is just someone who casts spells, so if you cast a spell, you are already a witch.
Answer:Are you talking about a dedication spell? Here is a simple one:
You need:
A white candle
a clean space on the ground outside
A lighter or match
(you can add pomegranate juice, a cup or chalice, and homemade bread on a plate)
Go outside at night and draw a circle in the dirt big enough for you to sit in comfortably. Put all your stuff inside the circle in the middle. Meditate on what it means to be a witch, and what it means to you to dedicate yourself.
When you are done, walk around the circle, stopping at each elemental direction (East, South, West, North) and send a little prayer towards them. You arent going to invoke them tonight, you are just asking for Their attention for a little bit. When you are done, sit in the middle of the circle and send another prayer to the God and Goddess and ask for their attention as well. Light the candle. Then say aloud "Tonight I ask for Thy attention, for tonight is the night I dedicate myself to you." Then tell Them what you want.
When you are done, (if you brought the bread and juice) hold the cup up into the sky and say "Blessed be this juice" and take a sip. Do the same for the bread, and say "Blessed be this bread" and eat it. Dont eat or drink it all just yet.
Say aloud you are now dedicated and thank everyone again. Their attentions should shift away from you. Now you meditate on what you will do from then on to walk the path of a witch. Really think about the commitment you will have to make. When you are done, drink and eat most of the food, and then pour out the juice and bury some of the bread as an offering and a blessing. Clap thrice, then erase the circle. Ground, eat if you are still hungry and then go sleep.
One of the easiest is also one of the most dramatic: awakening from a dream.
Stuff like (Harry Potter:) Stoopify, expiriamus, or of course the stremely old abracadabra. Or just chant some weird song in those cheap "Be a Wizard" books.
What happens when a witches familiar dies?
When we lose an animal helper, (familiar) as happens in life... these animals are not supernatural and do not live forever, we mourn them, in whatever manner our personal path (and heart) dictates then go on with our lives, most often, if we need an animal helper, the gods will provide.
What is the definition of a witch?
Judaeo-Christian Point of View
Divination is "foretelling future events, or discovering things secret by the aid of superior beings, or other than human means." It is used in Scripture of false systems of ascertaining the divine will. It has been universal in all ages, and all nations alike civilized and savage. Numerous forms of divination are mentioned, such as divination by rods, Hose 4:12 divination by arrows, Ezek 21:21 divination by cups, Gene 44:5 consultation of teraphim, 1 Sam 15:23; Ezek 21:21; Zech 10:2 [TERAPHIM]; divination by the liver, Ezek 21:21 divination by dreams, Deut 13:2, 3; Judg 7:13; Jere 23:32 consultation of oracles. Isai 41:21-24; 44:7 Moses forbade every species of divination, because a prying into the future clouds the mind with superstition, and because it would have been an incentive to idolatry. But God supplied his people with substitutes for divination which would have rended it superfluous, and left them in no doubt as to his will in circumstances of danger, had they continued faithful. It was only when they were unfaithful that the revelation was withdrawn. 1 Sam 28:6; 2 Sam 2:1; 5:23 etc. Superstition not unfrequently goes hand in hand with skepticism, and hence, amid the general infidelity prevalent throughout the Roman empire at our Lord's coming, imposture was rampant. Hence the lucrative trade of such men as Simon Magus, Acts 8:9 Bar-jesus, Acts 13:6 the slave with the spirit of Python, Acts 16:16 the vagabond jews, exorcists, Luke 11:19; Acts 19:13 and others, 2 Tim 3:13; Reve 19:20 etc., as well as the notorious dealers in magical books at Ephesus. Acts 19:19

Witchcraft is part of what is called "Neo-Paganism," which is a modern trend in Canada, the United States and Europe. Neo-Pagans are people who are exploring nature-based religious traditions that have historical roots in pre-Christian European culture. Other modern Pagans include, for example, Druids, Church of All Worlds, and Radical Faery.
The attitude toward the word "witch" is paradoxical. Most people will say they do not "believe in witches." Yet they react strongly, even fearfully, when they learn that someone is a Witch. Some of the explanation must be the influence of Hollywood and fairy tales that describe witches as ugly old women with evil intentions and supernatural powers.
Others quote verse as if to ward off evil when if fact no evil is being done.
Many scholars believe that for thousands of years in Europe, the people in a village known as "witches" were highly respected women whom everyone consulted for advice about illness, injury, childbirth, and even emotional troubles.Yes they were mainly women, and they had special knowledge about herbs and various kinds of remedies. They were protectors of human life, and also loved, protected and respected animals and plants.
Witchcraft is a religion., Not all witches are Pagan and not all Pagans are witches. Wicca is one type of Witchcraft, but recently the term "Wicca" is sometimes applied to Witchcraft in general. People who practice this religion may call themselves Witches or Wiccans. It is an earth-based religion, in some ways similar to Native American spirituality. The religion of Witchcraft or Wicca is recognized by most state governments, the federal government, and the United States Armed Forces. Courts have recognized the right of prisoners to practice this religion on an equal basis with other religions.

Is there a standard book of spells?
In Wicca? In Paganism? In Witchcraft in general?
To all three questions, No, Not really but maybe a few sects, and No. There is no real standard book of spells that Pagans in general follow.
That said, in the Wiccan Tradition, Gerald Gardner's Book of Shadows is highly prized, and in various British Traditional Witchcraft covens, there are copies of Gerald's Book that they go by.
In Paganism, there are a few Traditions that follow or use some books. But in general, there is no standard book of spells.
How do you know if witches exist?
A Pagan Answer
The short answer is Yes, we do. I am a long practicing witch of a family tradition that goes back generations. You will hear all sorts of answers from all sorts of folk, but to me, if I want to know if Catholics exists, I ask Catholics, not Muslims.
Witches are often misunderstood, much maligned people of an earth based belief system. We have of as many different sub-faiths as some of the other major religions so what one witch from one path says does not necessarily apply to all witches any more than what a Jehovah's Witness says applies to all Christians.
Personally, as a practicing witch, (45+ years) and a High Priestess for a Pagan circle of 25+ souls, I can tell you that we do in fact exist. And that absolutely NONE of our powers come from Satan.
Just for the record Satan is a construct of the Judeo-Christian faith and those of us outside of it don't even believe in him.
It is my honest opinion that the leading of a good, productive and caring life is much more important than who you believe the "true" god is.
I spend my time helping others, doing good for my family and friends, caring for the planet I live on and even being concerned for the welfare of strangers. I teach others, cast spells, hold rituals, celebrate the seasonal "turning of the wheel" and the phases of the moon. I garden and use herbs for healing, myself, my family and my pets, as well as those of friends and others, pagan and non-pagan alike. I scry the future, read palms, cards and tea-leaves (but not minds), cast runes, and stones, own and use a pendulum and a dark mirror. I do a little weather-witching and when you live in the country as I do, calling a little rain in a dry spell, or asking for sunshine during the harvest is not just for me, but could be considered a community service. Mostly I consider myself a good person, the fact I am a witch is between me and my gods.
I do not preach, nor do I insist mine is the ONLY way. I tell anyone who asks, that not only do I not have all of the answers...I don't even have all of the questions. Life is about learning, and helping others along the way. My own actions speak for themselves.
Witches are human, they may practice their own beliefs, hopefully for the good. But they are not immune to love. The only people who do not fall in love are those that fear love and don't allow themselves the greatest gift of life.
Is there a real wizardry and witchcraft in the Bronx?
Wizardry's still is a kind of unknown to the ones that think of it as fantasy... If their are real wizards and witches then they must be keeping it a secret and/or giving us hints that their is a fiction or non-fiction way of it...
How do you make a magic slate?
== * Tempera paint * Tablespoon * Large, durable zip-close bag * Masking tape * White paper (8.5x11) * Drawing tool, like a ice pop stick or finger
1 Choose a dark thick color of tempera paint.
2 Place 3 tablespoons of the tempera paint into your zip-close bag. Squeeze out as much air as you can and then zip the bag shut.
3 Position a white piece of paper, a little smaller than your bag, on a flat surface.
4 Place the paint-filled zip-close bag on top of the white sheet of paper. Tape the sides of the bag to the surface of the paper with masking tape.
5 Use your hand to smooth the paint into a thin layer in the bag and across the white paper. You now have a homemade magic slate.
6 Use a blunt drawing tool, like a finger or an ice pop stick, to draw on your homemade magic slate. Your drawing will appear as you displace the dark paint and reveal the white paper.
7 Rub your hands over the zip lock bag to wipe away your drawings and start fresh.

How do you perform the illusion of cutting someone in half with magic?
I do not know how this morbid illusion works, but the less violent and more subdued Roltair"s Illusion is more easily explained. a real, if modifed casket is used and it has a retractable false bottom and movable internal partitions. when the lights are down low and the smoke bomb or other diversion goes off, the girl goes down into the normally closed lower half of the coffin, and in some variant, ducks under a hollowed-out trap door in the Bier- or coffin stand. then she might pull something to flood the upper, normal half of the coffin with flowers when it is opened and she has vanished. the girl repeats the procedure in reverse to return to live setting. It is sacrilegious and pokes fun at the dogma of the Assumption. a church art piece in Hoboken can be interpreted as either the Assumption dogma as understood- or Roltair"s illusion. leave the latter one alone! It was banned from all church carnivals in l968 by Archbishop Boland and this made interesting secular headlines- Bishop bans Lewd Carnival act!

Is 8 too young for a girl to begin shaving her legs?
It depends on the hair color and length.
If you are very hairy, and constantly feel self-conscious about this, I would say you could give it a try.
I would highly recommend a second opinion, like from a female relative.
Remember - once you start shaving, you shouldn't stop, so don't start shaving until you feel that you really need to.
The word pronounced "wahlah" is the French term voila(voilà meaning see there).
What does it mean when a male witch wants a lock of your hair?
Chances are they are going to perform a binding spell on you. To stop you doing something to them. Usually a binding is done because they are sick of something you have been doing to them (ex. being so ignorant about them and their beliefs). I know that I have to put a binding on my mother once a year to stop her from forcing me to church and just complain because I'm not catholic anymore. If this is not the case with you, then perhaps it is a healing, or a protection charm. It could be for a love spell. If you are worried then ask them why they needed the hair.
Also I would like to point out that the first rule of Wicca/Paganism/Witches is "with harm to none do what thou wilt" (Do whatever you want but don't hurt anyone). So unless they are going against traditional teachings they wont hurt you, unless of course you did something to them (then it's self defense).
== == *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Second, if a "witch" wanted to perform black magic they most certainly would not ask for anything from the intended "victim", it would lessen the power of the "bewitching". Third, you can not "transform" someone.
The purpose of a lock of hair in a spell or ritual is to create a link with a person, so that the spell can better focus on its target. It can be done for any kind of spell, either positive or harmful. You should ask the witch what he plans to do with that lock of hair; if he's one of your friends, why not simply talk about it ? Maybe he wants to cast a protection or prosperity spell on you.
I wouldn't worry much about the possibility of a harmful spell. Most witches have good intentions and follow an ethical rule called the Wiccan Rede: "An it harm none, do what you will". This law forbids evil magick and manipulative spells. Furthermore, if that witch planned to hurt you, he probably wouldn't ask for a lock of your hair ! He would rather keep his intentions secret, because of a witchcraft rule called "to keep silent". It is the last rule in a set of four: 1- To Know.
2- To Will.
3- To Dare.
4- To Keep Silent. I won't explain all of them here as it would be off-topic. Let's just stick to the fourth rule: it states that when a person is aware of a spell cast onto them, it gives them power to either reinforce OR weaken the spell. Thus, a witch who wants to curse you would not give you any hint about his/her intentions, because that would allow your thoughts to influence the spell and counter its effects.
When do you know if you have to put spacers for braces?
I am 15 and I wear braces so I know what they are for and when you should get them. You only need them when the orthodontist has trouble attaching the back part of the braces onto your molars. Spacers push on the teeth to make room for this device.
