What are some characteristics of Mozart's works?

They were always deep and complex, smooth and perfect- but never, EVER betrayed any of Wolfgang's emotions just for the sake of a "fake reaction", as he called it. If he never added his emotions into it, the listeners could feel what they like from his music, so everyone will have a different opinion.

What were some musicals Mozart made?

If by "produce" you mean compose or write, Mozart is generally credited with between 600 and 700 musical compositions of the Classical era, including symphonies, religious masses, operas, chamber music, both piano and violin sonatas and concertos, string quartets, organ works and more. The most authoritative though still incomplete listing of his works is the so-called "Köchel Catalog," hence when you see a Mozart work listed, as on a recording cover, it gives the name and the number in that catalog, like this: "Symphony No. 33 in B Flat Major, K. 319."

What is the first piece Mozart composed?

When he was 5, he wrote the melody to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

At the age of 8, he composed his first REAL song; Andante in C.

Thx,

This is categorically wrong. He did not write the melody to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, though it was first composed when he was five (1761). He had several variations on the song, but the most famous of these, the one we use today, he did not write until he was 25. 1781 or 82.

Andante in C was first wrote in 1778. Mozart was born in 1756. I would say he was a tad older than 8 when he wrote that song.

Mozart's first known music piece was The Symphony No. 1 in E flat major, K. 16 which he wrote in 1764 at the age of 8.

Answer

Mozart was not the normal excellent musician. Even at the age of three he was an accomplished harpsichord player, and was already a prolific international composer and recitalist by the age of ten.

More than this, he had the remarkable gift of being able to memorise extensive pieces of music at one hearing, and then go off and write down the music afterwards - not just the tune and accompaniment, but the notes played by each individual orchestral instrument - note perfect.

He was not only one of the greatest keyboard players of his day but was also a virtuoso on the violin and an accomplished conductor. As a composer he was extremely prolific, churning out hundreds of symphonies, piano works, concerti, choral works and so on within a short space of time so that by the time he had died in his thirties (!) he had already produced more masterpieces than most other composers up to that date - and more great works than most other composers put together - with probably the exception of bach or Handel. But it will probably be for his operas that he is most remembered. Before Mozart opera was a Cinderella art form - and operas were rather modest affairs. But with Mozart the idea of musical stage works really matured so that the music was seen as equally important as the action on stage. This development was only really improved upon in the 19th century and early 20th century when Verdi, Wagner, Puccini and Britten built on Mozart's work and took opera to another dimension.

How old was Mozart when he started playing piano?

During Wolfgang Mozart's childhood, Leopold (his father) 'cut down' his age as a publicity stunt to make him seem younger than he was so the exact age Mozart started playing is doubtful. Some claim he was three, others put it at six, either way it's way more impressive than what many people accomplish by the time they're sixty!

How did Mozart change the world of music?

Mozart's music was very different than other composer's work. He didn't right as much religious music as others. Take his Requiem for example. That music mgiht be sad, but it sounds incredible! So I guess I'm trying to say his music is unique because it just sounded far different then anybody elses. Mozart's music was very different than other composer's work.
