Where can you play WolfQuest demo?
Unfortunately, you can't. Even if you do find it, a) the demo is not guaranteed to work/you may have problems due to it being a very early build/version, b) there is a strong chance of it carrying malware or viruses if you search multiple untrustworthy sites, and c) you would have to know the demo's version number.
Even today it is near impossible to find it and even if you do, there is a strong chance of incompatibility due to system requirements. It is best to play later versions as they are more likely to work on your computer. See the 'related link' for an archive of older versions and the current one. Always download the game from WolfQuest.org, you will not get a virus from there due to it being a trusted source. Additionally, the WolfQuest website only provides the latest version and don't provide older versions. If you do seek older versions of the game, please be careful!
Happy WolfQuesting! :-)
What happens when your mate is low on heath on WolfQuest?
Not a lot... You may notice him/her 'flee' or abandon some tasks they normally help you with (hunting, helping the pups learn/survive, attacking predators, etc) until they die and respawn. If you don't want your mate to die, find a hare and walk near it. Your mate should kill and eat it. Alternatively, try the same near an elk carcass.
Be warned: sometimes while on low health, your mate might walk endlessly in any direction and continue doing so even if they reach the invisible barrier. This is a known glitch/bug. If this happens, try saving and reloading or howling to break this behaviour. If problems persist, allow the mate to die and see if things improve when they respawn.
Are there any games like wolfquest but with cats?
There is a catpawisland but its not 3d and you can not hunt so the only thing you can really do is chat and role play. You can become many tybes of cats and poses like a sleeping kitten or a sitting tiger or a cat holding a bird.
How too take care of pups in wolf quest?
Taking care of your pups is essential in episode two; you can protect them from predators by fighting them off -- during the 'Protect your Pups' mission, bears require you to bite them three times before they'll retreat, coyotes will need to be killed or else chased far from your territory, though it's best to kill them to prevent it from continually returning to pester you and the eagle cannot be killed. You should be wary of stranger wolves who appear in your territory and chase them off immediately. Keeping your territory markers refreshed above 80% reduces the risk of predators accessing your territory. ;)
During the 'Grow your Pups' mission, you are required to fatten up your puppies' weight to 15kg each. You'll have to either hunt or scavenge in order to find the necessary food for your pups (the cattle ranch is a quick and easy source if you live nearby!) and grow them quickly.
During the final mission to find your summer home, if you still have four puppies, a helpful tip: fill your 'Food for Pups' bar so that your pups will follow you. Carrying a puppy will help, but beware the eagle that threatens your pack during this final stretch of episode two! It will continuously circle overhead and target your pups randomly, so it's a good idea to alwaysstay nearby all pups.
The WolfQuest forum has some useful guides available if you're interested; check out the 'related links' I've added for convenience. Happy WolfQuesting!
Is there a WolfQuest 2 for Mac?
WolfQuest is available for both Windows and Mac systems via the WolfQuest website >> Downloads page. See 'related links' if you're having issues.
Eduweb created the game; Minnesota Zoo helped with funding and (to my knowledge) gameplay ideas / planning episodes.
Is there a cheat in WolfQuest that will protect your pups from being attacked?
The game is made with Unity 3D, so the only "cheats" that really exist are the bugs and glitches left (however unintentionally) in the game by the developers. To answer, no; you will need to protect your pups by fighting against predators. There's no cheat to protect against them, but there is a bug. ;)
There is a bug in the game that allows you to protect your pups easily, however this only works against coyotes and bears; it will not protect against the eagle during the final mission. When a predator does appear, make a note of which pup it has targeted. When you know, go to that puppy and press 'z' to fall asleep beside it and skip to another time.
When you wake, the predator should be gone and the puppy will have been saved. It's really only necessary to do this when there are grizzly bears around, since coyotes are easily killed.
Is WolfQuest 3 out and can you download it?
You can't download what does not exist. There is no and may never be a "WolfQuest 3". Because Minnesota Zoo have stopped looking for funding resources such as national science grants; without funding, the development of WolfQuest cannot continue since it does cost money for 3D models, assets, scripts/code, and even staff to help make the game possible.
It should be made clear that the Minnesota Zoo no longer wants to look for funding sources, there won't be an episode three unless Eduweb (the developer) continues seeking grant money themselves. We're not yet sure what will happen for the future of WolfQuest, but what we do know is that the multiplayer chat lexicon (that enables players to speak freely to some extent) will eventually be removed, leaving only disabled and phrased chat options. The WolfQuest website will remain online indefinitely, and when it does go offline, it will no longer be possible to play multiplayer at all.
I'd strongly urge people who like the game and ask this question to view the two announcements posted by the former administrator, WQ Coordinator, who has sadly made these matters clear. (Related links below)
After five years of teaching the world about wolves, the project may be coming to an end.
How do you mate with a coyote on wolfquest?
That is not possible. WolfQuest is about wolves. It is not CoyoteQuest (nor are there plans for other animalQuest games!) and it cannot be done, no matter where you may have heard or read that rumor.
Remember: the game is about wolves, your objectives are to find a dispersal wolf and raise a litter of wolf pups. ;)
How do you make an account on WolfQuest without waiting 3-4 days?
Account activation is a forced process - all accounts must be queued for approval. This is to prevent spammers or inappropriate usernames from being a problem which is understandable since WQ is meant to be family-friendly.
Like everyone else, you'll have to be patient with the approval system. You could send an e-mail to info@wolfquest.org to inquire about speeding up the process, but it's typically much better to wait.
How do you get to the rendevous site quick on WolfQuest?
It really depends on which den you chose at the beginning of the game. The longest route to the rendezvous site if you chose Aspen Heights, the shortest route to the rendezvous site if you chose Saddle Meadows, leaving the most challenging and medium route as Slough Creek and Bison Peak Cutoff dens.
I say "challenging" for Slough Creek and Bison Peak Cutoff because you are required to evade stranger wolf pack territory by crossing at Sandbar crossing, following the river and crossing again north of the elk hunting ground.
Given the proximity between the summer den site and Saddle Meadows, as well as the fact you only have to cross the river once and have fewer predator encounters (including the eagle), it is safe to say that the densite is the fastest route.
In regards to speeding up the trip with your pups, having a full food-for-pups meter helps a lot. Be cautious where bodies of water are concerned, as there is a slight chance your wolf's mate may drop pups in the river due to their AI. The fewer pups you have on your final journey, the quicker it will be.
Are there any games like wolfquest where you are a fox?
Not that I'm aware of. The WolfQuest Team has no plans (and no longer any funding resources) to focus on other "animal" quest games (example: FoxQuest) at any given time in the future. Due to a recent announcement, there will no longer be any WolfQuest development and - consequently - no possibility of future animal quest games from the same team.
Currently, WolfQuest's only ending is episode 2 -- it concludes that your pups will grow up and help you with your next litter, however, because of the funding situation, that is very unlikely to happen. So essentially the game ends with two episodes unless Eduweb takes it on and resumes seeking funding for it to continue development and progress.
How can you kill cattle on WolfQuest?
In order to kill cattle, you must access the cattle ranch found on the north-eastern area of the creek. It is not possible to kill adult cattle; you'll only be able to kill the calf.
There is only one calf spawn per visit to the ranch. Once you have killed it, it will not respawn until you exit and re-enter the ranch.
How do you make different colored pups in WolfQuest?
Hi there. Unfortunately, the current version (2.5.1) has a bug that means your pups cannot inherit the pelt colouration of your wolf and his/her mate. In previous versions of Slough Creek it was possible but is likely that the feature has been broken by updates to 2.5.1. Hopefully, this can be resolved in the future. I have added a related link - please look into it to understand the situation for the WolfQuest Team.
Happy WolfQuesting.
How do you create a username and password to join a multiplayer game on Wolfquest?
You will need to register via the WolfQuest forums.
From the WolfQuest website, click 'Community', then click 'Register'.
You eill need to wait usually 1-3 days, though often account activations are done within a day - until your account is activated. Once activated, you'll be able to login to the forums and game.
How do you get a mate in wolf qwest?
In order to find a mate, you will need to have visited all three territories and encountered a stranger wolf (entering the social arena and interacting with the wolf) in each area at least once. Once this has been done, you can revisit any of the three territories - only this time, you'll want to be looking for a Dispersal wolf of the opposite gender to your wolf.
When you have found a Dispersal wolf of the opposite gender, you'll next need to socialize. To make it your mate, you must use the options in this order:
Afterwards, you'll be able to name your mate and he/she will always follow you from now on. Once you have your mate, you can save the game and move on to Slough Creek.
Be warned: there is currently a bug in the game that renders saving impossible if you have died in a social arena. If you did die, save/load options will be greyed out until you quit to the main menu and reload. There's no fix for this bug at the moment, so be careful and save frequently.
How do you takes screenshots on wolfquest?
Press the F1 key on your keyboard to take a screenshot.
It's worth mentioning that screenshots can and will overwrite older screenshots. As I recall, you can only take a maximum of five screenshots before older screenshots will be overwritten -- ie, WQscreenshot1 through WQscreenshot5. Taking a sixth screenshot will overwrite WQscreenshot1.
It's best to rename screenshots you want to keep.
Is there a part 3 in wolf quest?
Wolf quest has 2 parts so far( Amathist mountain and slough creek) They have plans on making a part 3 and 4 but they havn't got started on them. Funding and all of that gets in the way.
What does describe mean in wolfquest?
Describe in WQ means describe your wolf's appearance as well as your wolf's personality. Because the WQ chat is filtered, you can't say male or female when describing your wolf, so WQ users have found a different way of typing male or female...
Male= Led
Female= Alas
OR
Male= Blue Gender
Female= Pink Gender
People mostly use led or alas.
Now... back to describing, I will give you two brief examples of describes you could use in game, some people have very large describes, these are fairly small describes. I don't care if you copy and paste these describes into the game.
Example for Alas:
Moon, alas, pure white pelt, only markings are light grey small moons, fierce fighter with a strong heart, has scar running down my face.
Example for Led:
Flame, led, large wolf with broad shoulders, red pelt which looks like it's on fire in the sunlight, scars littering my pelt, bold and never backs down from a fight.
So you say your wolf name first and then gender, that's what most people want to know right away, then list personality and special markings, scars, ect.
There are all sorts of names you could choose from, having trouble deciding? Use a random name generator or look up Native American names, those are always cool. Well, I hope this helped.

How do you find your wolfquest account?
After registering an account (this applies to any forums using phpbb3 forum software, as WolfQuest's does), you'll receive an e-mail confirming your registration request with information about your account (the username and password as I recall), with the message 'please keep this e-mail for your records'.
If you've deleted that e-mail, can you remember the username or e-mail address you used when you registered? If you do remember either of these two details, go to the login page and click on 'I forgot my password'.
You'll need to input your username and e-mail address if you can remember them. If not, you will be required to send an e-mail (see sources/related links below and read the WolfQuest FAQ article "I forgot my username/password- what do I do?" for the address and instructions) in order to recover your account.
How do you get your pups to come with you to find a new den on wolfquest?
You cannot.
Once you have selected a den, your family will stay on that densite until the final mission locates you to the summer location. If you're referring to moving them to the summer location, here's a tip:
Before starting the mission, find an elk carcass and fill your "food for pups" bar to its maximum capacity, then head to the summer site.
How do you get full screenwolf quest?
When you first click on the icon, it comes up with a small menu, right? There should be a tick box that says 'windowed?' or something. Uncheck that box. It should be full screen now. Sources- I play WQ- RawMeat
WolfQuest is absolutely free. You can download it at the WolfQuest website.
How do you sneak on wolfquest?
It is possible to use the stealth/sneak mode by pressing and holding down the left shift key. This can be changed via the configuration tab before launching WolfQuest and locating this key bind.
