Say you pick the first sock and it's black. If the second one is also black, you're done.
If the second sock is white, then pick a third sock. If the third sock is black, it matches the first sock; if it's white it matches the second one. Either way, you have a pair.

How do you get information to your brain?
I usually take the A train. I used to take the Chattanooga choo choo but I found the A train was a quicker way to get information to my brain. Sometimes I walk but it takes longer to get there, when I'm inclined to I drive, but that kind of information is far too often a distraction from what it is I really want to know. Do you know what I mean? No? That's because your sending too much information to your brain. Don't you understand? Your brain is a biological organ subject to the physical laws. All synapse and nerves, gray matter and blood underneath a skull. Exactly how much information do you imagine something like that can handle? The problem with relying on the brain to handle and store information is that you've greatly diminished your scope of understanding down to senses and synapse.
Can you see ideas? I don't mean picture them in your mind, I mean does your sense of sight, reliant upon your eyes, see ideas. No, of course not. Can you touch ideas? Do you smell them? Hear them? (Not the voices in your head.) Can you hear an idea in an audible sense from your ears? If your senses don't pick up on ideas what makes you so sure your brain does? Where do ideas come from? What part of the brain creates ideas? Perhaps ideas aren't generated by any part of our physical body. We may develop ideas based on the information processed through our brain from our senses and experience inside our bodies, but the idea itself where did it come from? It is entirely possible, even probable that there is something more than sense and synapse going on inside these bodies. If all our consciousness is, is synapses firing off in successions how is it we know about synapses? If all we are is our body then we would necessarily be inherently subjective and because of our bodies we are extremely subjective but it is self evident that we are not entirely subjective. We do possess ability to show objectivity. A man sees a piece of wood floating on the water and imagines building a boat. The subjectivity is his need to cross the water. His objectivity allowed him to take those observations made of the lake, and even though a piece of wood is not in and of itself enough data to ensure boat building, this observation grew into an idea.
Perhaps it is best to just let our senses absorb all the information our brains require and spend more time getting information to our soul, or mind if you will. It's something to think about. Well, gotta go I've put too much information in my brain and I have to clean out the attic.

THE ANSWER take one girl she has 7 bags each bag has 7 cats each cat has 7 smal cats now one smal cat has 4 legs so 7 smal cats have 7*4 = 28 legs then one big cat has 28 legs + the big cats 4 legs so one big cat - 32 legs then 7 big cats = 32* 7 = 224 legs so one bag has 224 legs and 7 bags have 224* 7 1568 legs now one girl has 1568 + 2 legs which is 1570 legs now 7 girls have 1570 * 7 = 10990 ========================================================= Nope, Its 10,990 legs. Actually, the answer is zero. There are no legs on a bus; a bus has wheels. on this day there was legs on the bus and no mention of a bus driver I agree 10990 legs is the answer 10992 1,582 legs 5504 legs === === 7 Girls x 2 legs = 14. 7 X 7 big cats x 4 legs = 196. 7 X 7 X 7 small cats x 4 legs = 1372. Had to be a driver with 2 legs = 2. 14 + 196 + 1372 + 2 = 1584. __________________
Shouldn't it be: 7 girls x 2 legs = 14 7 girls x 7 bags x 7 big cats x 4 legs = 1372 7 girls x 7 bags x 7 big cats x 7 small cats x 4 legs = 9604 14 + 1372 + 9604 = 10990 And if there was a driver: 10990 + 2 = 10,992 legs total Because there were 7 girls each carrying 7 bags so there were 49 bags altogether.
The answer above only shows 7 bags total in the math. 49 bags each with 7 big cats makes 343 big cats. Each big cat had 7 small cats making it 2401 small cats. Then all the big cats plus all the small cats each have 4 legs and the 7 girls each have 2 legs. Plus, the optional driver, I guess. ____________________________________________________________________ If the question was "how many legs are in the bus?" it might be worth all the multiplying by 7, by 2, by 4 and so on, but the question is "how many legs are on the bus?" so the answer still has to be zero, since wheels are on a bus, not legs. ____________________________________________________________________
