Germany has never used dollars as currency, only marks and euros. A 1922 bill would be denominated in marks, but due to hyperinflation at the time it's unlikely to have a value as low as 2 marks.

All current issue Riel notes are self-produced by the National Bank of Cambodia in Phnom Penh.

Many modern banknotes include a thin or thick aluminum coated polyester thread embedded into the paper during manufacture. The Bank of Enlgand uses a variety of security devices on banknotes including, metallic threads, raised lettering, high print quality, ultra-violet and see through features, holographs, micro-lettering and watermarks.

The Bank of Enlgand also changes the design of bank notes regularly and withdraws the old notes.

The Bank of Enlgand is currently planning to introduce polymer banknotes which will incorporate many of the previously mentioned security devices and should make it nearly impossible to counterfeit realistic looking notes.

The Dominion of Canada 2 Dollar note was issued with three different signatories and is worth between $10,000 and $30,000 in uncirculated condition. A Very Good condition would be worth $350 to $5,000 depending on specific issue.

Any German currency with that date and denomination (100,000 marks) was a paper note issued during the hyperinflation period of the Weimar Republic and not a coin.

100,000-mark notes were issued a 2 different times. Sammler.com, a major German collectibles site, lists the following approximate values as of 05/2012:

Despite its apparent huge value these bills were quickly rendered worthless by galloping inflation, so many were put away with almost no circulation wear. Occasionally people think the high denomination means they're worth enormous amounts but in fact they're barely more than curiosities today.

Most people have this dream of hitting it big with old money, and sometimes it does happen, but there are two things to take into consideration before selling your old money and finding out the value of it.

One thing you have to find out is how many of that mark were made in that year as it's the amount of coins minted that makes them valuable, not the year of them.

Secondly, is this coin worth a collector putting money on? Is it in good condition, not scratched, as if a coin is badly scratched most coin dealers won't have anything to do with it, no matter how many were minted or how old it is. If it's scratched it looses it's value.

Your best bet would be to let a coin dealer look at it and get an appraisal, these people know the coin business, and they'd be better to ask your question to get the right .

I have one of these too. I believe it is greek as I recognize the letters omega and sigma in the writing and the porpoise just seems greek to me. Also the A in apx is actually a triangle which is Delta in the greek alphabet. P is Pi and X is chi. Of course, "it's all greek to me" I only know what I had to learn to join the frat. However, for all I know there are other countries around the region that use greek or greek looking letters. Update: it is a greek 20 drachma coin. It is 83% silver and worth approx. 17 euros in uncirculated condition according to http://www.fleur-de-coin.com/shop/showcart.asp?id=drs46 which has a photo of the coin too

A Bank of England One Pound note (Series A - green)(Chief Cashier K.O. Peppiatt - serial D84B), uncirculated and in absolute mint condition could fetch anything up to £20 GBP. If it has been circulated but still in good condition, it might fetch anything from £5 to £10 GBP.

If you're travelling to Germany or know someone who is, the German central bank (Deutsche Bundesbank) will exchange old DM notes and coins without surcharges at any of its regional branches in Germany; these are located in most major and many secondary cities.

The Greek drachma is no longer in circulation; it has been replaced by the euro.
