There are two varieties of this bill, which dates from the early period of hyperinflation in the Weimar Republic.

Bills that measure 210 x 124 mm are worth about US 3.50 in average condition, while the smaller 180 x 100 mm variety retails for US 4.00 - 7.00 depending on condition.

All mint uncirculated Italian notes have a value to collectors. Used notes still have a 'face value' and can be exchanged by the Banca D'Italia (in Italy) for their Euro equivalent, at the exchange rate of 1,936 Lira = 1 Euro ($1.34)

There only two notes dated 1983;

5000 Lira : UNC = $70. Heavily used = $3.46.

100,000 Lira : UNC = $180/200. Used = $69.

The Reserve Bank of Australia "invented" all of Australia's currency. The original paper Ten Dollar note was designed by Gordon Andrews in 1964, and first issued on the 14th of February, 1966. The current polymer Ten Dollar note was designed by Max Robinson and was first issued in November, 1993.

The Central Bank of China issued notes from 1924 denominated in Dollars. There are several varieties of the 1928 50 Dollar note. In mint uncirculated condition, they are worth between $12-$45. Used notes in Very Fine condition are worth $4-$15.

Depending on condition, a 1959 Bank of Scotland One Pound note might get anything from £5 to £20 GBP.

Many of the coins are valued at a price close to $5 each. The exact amount will vary depending upon the wear and tear of each coin.

"Hell Bank Notes" are not actual currency; rather, they are Chinese "joss notes" which are burned as part of ancestor veneration. They have no exchange value, although it is possible that some people collect them.

China was a country in turmoil during this era and it is very difficult to identify and accurately value notes without knowing which bank issued the note. However, it is most likely that this denomination/date is from the Bank of China and is worth between $1-2 in very good used condition or $10-25 in mint uncirculated.

Four different silver colored "pfennig" coins were produced by Germany ("Deutsches Reich" is German for "German Kingdom" or "German Regime") in 1875, but only the 20 Pfennig or 50 Pfennig were made of silver (the 5 and 10 pfennig coins were made of copper-nickel). Depending on condition and mintmark, the 5 Pfennig is worth US$0.25 to US$100 (although the "H" mintmark ranges more like US$20 to US$175), and the 10 Pfennig is worth US$1 to US$70 (although the "H" mintmark ranges more like US$10 to US$165).

The 20 Pfennig weighs 1.111 grams and is 90% silver, giving it an ASW (Actual Silver Weight) of 0.0321 troy ounces. It is worth US$5 to US$75 (although the "E" and "H" mintmarks ranges more like US$17 to US$200).

The 50 Pfennig weighs 2.777 grams and is 90% silver, giving it an ASW (Actual Silver Weight) of 0.0803 troy ounces. It is worth US$8 to US$150 (although the "E" and "H" mintmarks ranges more like US$150 to US$2,000).

The mintmarks refer to: "A" for Berlin, "B" for Hannover, "C" for Frankfurt, "D" for Munich, "E" for Dresden, "F" for Stuttgart, "G" for Karlsruhe, "H" for Darmstadt and "J" for Hamburg. Usually, the Berlin mint had the highest production (although in 1875, the Munich mint produced more 20 Pfennig coins than did Berlin).

There are at least 4 separate issue of the 1000 Mark note dated 12-Apr-1910, with significantly different values. The most common from a collectors perspective is the dark brown issue with a 7-digit green serial number, which is worth $8 in uncirculated condition. The less common 6-digit or red serial numbered issues are worth $20-$50.

One of the problems with this particular note is that it was reiussed in 1916 (in World War 1) with the 1910 date. Prices had trebled in the meantime.

Canada no longer issues any notes larger than 100 Canadian Dollars. The Bank of Canada did issue $500 as late as 1935 and $1000 notes until 1987.

These notes can still be cashed at banks for their face values, however they are worth much more to collectors - the 1935 $500 is very rare and used, Very Fine, condition note is worth $70,000. The 1911 $500 is worth $125,000!
