During a battle with Incredible Hulk (issue #340, 1988), Wolverine's claws did indeed penetrate his skin. At one point he jabbed his claws into Hulk's gut, and you saw the back of Hulks shirt push out from the claws. You would have to assume that not only did the claws penetrate once (in the front) but twice (also through the back).

Of those, Mutant High seems to be used the most by sarcastic students and "the Mansion" seems to be used the most when talking to others who know of or attend the school.

I just noticed this continuity error as well... The only thing I can think of to save the continuity is that it isn't actually Professor X walking, but an image he is projecting of himself, while he is sitting in his wheelchair in the helicopter.

There are loads of ways she can die.

If she is not phasing, she can suffer harm just like anyone else. (example: A sniper bullet from a distance.)

Since she is unable to breathe while "inside" an object, she can only continuously phase through solid objects (as when she travels underground) as long as she can hold her breath. If she were to fall unconscious (due to not breathing) and phase back in while in a solid object, she would die.

If she lives long enough, she WILL die... of old age.

In the end of Astonishing X-Men Vol 4: Unstoppable, she drifted off into space in a giant missile, she was inside it to save the world, and we don't know if she's dead.

X-men titles switched between issues #111 and #114 from just "X-men" to "Uncanny X-men" so it may be worth checking first to see which category you would fall into.

For the first issue of X-men, published in 1963, many people are asking thousands for it in good condition. For titles published over the next ten years, depending on the title, you can fetch anywhere from $10 - $150 depending on condition and rarity.

Once the titles switched to Uncanny at issue #114, prices drop dramatically. X-men titles were published more frequently and in higher quantities. Comics from #114 - roughly #277 fetch about $4.00 each, unless it's a special title that is highly sought after, like certain sagas and special character introductions. After #277 - present, the titles hardly receive $0.99 a piece. They are frequently put into groups and sold at prices that individually make up for about $0.45 a piece.

Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, has not died in any of the cartoons or comics except in alternate futures, in which he has died too many times to count. In the movies, Cyclops was supposedly killed by Jean Grey as Dark Phoenix in 'X-men: The Last Stand', but since we never see a body, some fans like to suspect that Jean didn't kill him and he is still alive, despite what the directors say.

Everyone in the first class of X-Men (with the possible exclusion of Iceman) is probably in their early-mid 30s. Beast and Cyclops both commented on turning 30 in '93-'94 (Beast in X-Men #24, don't remember the specifics for Cyclops), and it's safe to assume that Marvel's Earth's danced around the sun at least a couple of times over the last 15 real world years.

They are actually not related at all. Their original relationship was planned out to be a father-son connection, but after the success of the Wolverine character and the relative obscurity of Sabretooth, this idea was abandoned. This question has been asked for years. It has never really been given a definite answer. Both the Avengers and the X-men are formidable opponents, with incredible team members. Also, it should be noted, that the Avengers and X-men have many crossover members, making it hard to determine who would stand with who during a battle.
