Once you've done that, all you have to do is (again, on the left) find the scientist beaker thingy with green bubbly liquid in it. (It's an icon) Just click on that, an voila! The research things! (To start research, just click the up arrow on the little box.)

you can breed an animal by giving it the things it needs(enviornment,food,toys,ect.). I dont think you can crossbreed any bears.
