Do zoos have good habitat for animals?
In my own opinion I do NOT think that zoos are the best places for animals to be. A few years ago my local zoo had dolphins, and they died 6 months after. Its because of captivity, its very unnatural. Sea world does it too. They use the whales and dolphins and seals for entertainment then when the day is over they lock them up in a cramped up space and the animals can become very unhealthy because of that. They all say that they put animals in zoos and use animals for entertainment because it helps them, but that's just what they want you to believe. Animals in captivity have a better chance of dying then they would out in the wild. animals are meant to roam free. not to be locked up. just like humans. when humans are put in jail cells it can drive them nuts.

well it is fun on one hand but on the other REALLY HARD WORK you have to pass many weeks of training but it is a fun and social way to get up and close with animals from around the continent. If you're ready to take care of and watch over the cute and cuddly animals 247! this is your type of job

Reasons why zoos should not be banned?
Many people feel that zoos fill a vital role in educating people about
animals and play an important part in animal conservation. While much
information on animals is available through printed materials and the
Internet, it falls far short of allowing people to experience being
near those animals. Many people lack the means to travel to the native
habitats of most animals, and zoos bring animals from many different
climates and locations together in one place. For many people as well,
the experience of being close to these animals has more impact than
simply reading about them. This experience often gives them an affinity
for animals that they may not have otherwise, and an awareness of
conservation efforts.
A lot of people think that zoos are good because they help
repopulate, etc. but did you ever think... that the only reason why we
need to repopulate some species, is because of poaching and hunting? If
we never had poaching and hunting, most animals are capable out there
in the wild... and why look at zoos when you could go to on an African
safari and tour the land?
Zoos are good, but they are not 100% educational. Most people use
the internet and guides to find out about the species. It is really
only for our entertainment. Zoos should be banned because it is cruel
to animals.

Some have cages of monkeys/birds/snakes OR tanks of fish/seals/dolphins.

Nah, but go to Yellowstone and see the animals in the wild. Way better anyway!
Why you should keep animals in the zoo?
it is supposed to be for people entertainment and fun.
It's supossed to show you how different animals live in their habbitat.
