How do you ask questions privately on WikiAnswers?

You don't I'm afraid. WikiAnswers is an open and public information resource, and it is intended to remain such. You can find a member who has answered a similar question to yours in the past and post to their talk page, but even that is viewable by any user on the internet.

• Well, you could always sign-out of your account to do this. We will not be able to see the member that has answered the question, but we will see their IP but it's still private because we don't know if a member answered the question, or if a random person around the world did it so that's pretty much the only way.
