check throttle plate builds up with carbon
Idle air control? Fuel pump? Coil?
Check to see if catalytic converter is stopped up,a clogged fuel filter can cause it to go bad .
Air in the fuel line?? There is a filter in your tank that may need to be replaced.
I have changed the fuel pump on my 1993 Pontic Bonneville, it still is stalling any clues why? could be Fuel Pressure Regulator http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKtR_yF7bi8&feature=related
possible fuel filter
, They replaced for me the Ignition module and Fuel pump relay so that it could be restarted, then the EGR valve to keep it from stalling at stop lights; then I also replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator diaphragm and Idle Air Control Valve, TPS sensor, IAF sensor, and finally the EGR Valve Solenoid which seems to give much more stable idle when in gear at a stoplight. Hope this helps
did you check the fuel pump/filter? mine does the same thing.
fuel gauge, speedomiter on instrument panel doesnt work on car and keeps stalling
A stalling car is never good. If a car stalling out is fuel related, it is important to check the fuel pump relay, the fuel line and the gaskets. Wear or tear in anyone of these items can cause a vehicle to not receive the fuel it need to make it up a hill.
Because it's a Ford.
