I had this problem on mine. Using a flat screw driver starting form the window seal you can very gently pry the door panel up and then work your way down loosen the door panel enough to access the interior portion of the door and the lock. It takes patience not to break the door panel but it works.

Take out the screws for the handle and remove the handle trim. I started at the bottom of the panel and pulled. It is secured with plastic fasteners that pop out. Start at the bottom because the top part of the panel has a lip on it and you will need to lift the panel up in order to remove it.
