You should see a white sleeve around the fitting that is at the transmission. Slide this sleeve toward the transmission while pulling on the line.
5-SPD: To remove the clutch you first have to disconnect the hydraulic line that feeds the slave cylinder the hydraulic fluid. for that a special tool is required to push and pulll on the fitting. the tool costs about $10 ive used a bbq fork before its up to you. Once that is done, you remove drivelines, unplug all electrical connectors, remove the shifter from the top of transmission, put a jack under transmission, remove crossmember, unbolt the bellhousing from engine and pull out the transmission. 4SPD: To remove the hydraulic slave cylinder you do not need to remove the transmission, it is sitting on the outside of the transmission on the driver side of it. to replace the slave you simply disconnect it and unbolt it.
If the line is connected directly, without a banjo, or flare fitting, then you will have to loosen the line, unbolt the slave cylinder, and twist the slave cylinder to unscrew the line.
You will see a white plastic retaining ring where the line connects to the transmission. Do not remove this, but instead push this in evenly toward the transmission while pulling the hydraulic line away from the transmission. One of Ford's "better ideas".
Remove the exaust pipes. Remove the transmission. It is located inside the bell housing section of the transmission.

The hydraulic clutch slave cylinder is located on the mainshaft of the trans. You must remove the trans to get to it
I am assuming you have the driveshaft out. The next thing to do is remove the exhaust pipe section that goes between the manifold and the flange just after the catalytic converter. Remove the hydraulic clutch line on the left side of the bell housing by pushing the white plastic bushing in all the way then remove the line. remove the nut holding the trans mount to the cross member remove ALL the bell housing to motor bolts slide the transmission back to get the input shaft out of the clutch VERY CAREFULLY remove the trans from the truck. this might be easier if you place a hydraulic jack under it first.
My 94 has a spring pin that pushes out of the connectors on either end. Since the steel pins are located in plastic fittings, they come out easily.
pull the cotter pin out with with a pair of pliers and and remove the the little metal sleeve the cotter pin was in. you can use a small nail to achieve this. slide the hydraulic line straight out.
It is on the input shaft of the transmission (inside the bellhousing). to remove it you need to remove the transmission enough to slide the input shaft, remove the hydraulic lines that control it and slide it off the shaft.
