(1) Open the hood; (2)unscrew the retainer from the back of the headlight; (3)pull the bulb socket out of the headlight assembly; (4)pull out the housing clips and remove the housing from the grill. NOTE:on later models there only 2 clips that are pulled up to release the headlight housing - one on each side. After pulling them up, simply move the headlamp housing forward from the vehicle. It may also be necessary to remove the headlight housing to change the bulb. - Haynes Repair Manual #36071; 1994-2005 Mazda Pickups.
