the wiper relay on a 01 jetta in above the drivers kick pannel. pull the pannel that covers the pedals. the relay module will be above that. the wiper relay is the largest black relay (the size of 2 normal relays). pull it out and replace it with the new one. it can only go one way. very simple. hope that helps
