DO NOT COOK FROM FROZEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let them defrost. You are just asking for food poisoning if you try it. I personally fry steaks on super hot heat to seal the meat. I like them nice and rare inside so I cook them really hot so the outside is cooked properly and the inside is nice and pink. Do it for about 3 minutes or so on each side. If you prefer it a little less bloody then turn the heat down to about halfway, and do 'em for about 4-5 minutes or so on each side. You can tell if they are well done by sticking a fork in and seeing if the juices run clear. Before I cook a steak, I like to tenderize them with a tenderizer (like a small hammer with little points on it). Makes them a little less tough if they are a cheaper cut and helps me get out my frustrations for the week!

The best way is to defrost a steak first, then to cook it. If you don't have the time, then you can do it in advance before planning to cook it.

The best way to get meat from frozen to done in the shortest amount of time is in the microwave, But by cooking it in the microwave you are sacrifing alot of flavor. A better way to do it is to place the frozen meat in a container like a bowl and run it under cold running water until it is thawed out and then put it into a preheated oven or cook it on the stove.
I cook frozen brisket in foil in a slow cooker , I put smoked applewood rub on it and wrap it in foil and poke a few holes in the foil as to make a stream tent. It will slowly cook awesome!!!!! I do no believe that it make a difference thawed or frozen, however I think it makes it more moist to cook frozen as I shared above and that just a farm girls way of doing it
Smells and looks normal or the easiest way is to cook it and eat it
You probably could, but since ribs take longer to cook anyway, it would take a lot longer if they are frozen. The best way to barbecue frozen ribs would be to boil them until they thaw and cook long enough to turn a grayish color. Remove them from the boiling water, drain them and then lay them on the grill. Baste and turn them often until they are done.
Have you ever dug to the back of your freezer looking for the perfect steak to grill only to find it and discover that it is inedible due to freezer burn? This is an all too common problem that can be easily avoided with a few preventative measures. Protecting frozen foods from freezer burn is all about how you package it.Vacuum Sealing - Buying in bulk is an economical way of reducing food costs but when you bring the food home it needs to be properly wrapped in order to protect the food from freezer burn. The best possible way to protect your foods is with a vacuum sealer. The heavy duty plastic bags and removal of any air followed by a tight, air proof seal is hands down the best way to protect frozen foods from getting freezer burn. The only draw back is that vacuum sealers can be pricey and the bags are not reusable, and they can be expensive as well. However, if you do most of your shopping in bulk this may be the best option.Double Layers - So you’ve found an irresistible deal on steaks and buy enough for dinner and to freeze. You need to double wrap those steaks to ensure that once frozen they are protected from freezer burn. First tightly wrap the steaks in foil or plastic wrap and then seal them in a heavy duty zipper plastic bag removing as much air as possible. Place as many steaks in each plastic bag as will fit to ensure minimal space for air.Ice Glazing - Glazing with ice is a little more tricky but well worth the effort. Take those steaks you just bought, if you place them in a single layer on a cookie sheet filled with enough water to just cover them and then partially freeze them you can break the steaks off like an ice cube then wrap them in plastic wrap and continue to fully freeze them. The layer of ice on the steaks will prevent any and all air from getting to the steaks thus causing freezer burn.Of course the best possible way to prevent freezer burn of frozen foods is to use them in a timely manner!
