I thought a full tank would help but after I filled the tank, the problem has WORSENED. Its very difficult to start it now as it knocks like crazy. The car idles smoothly sometimes esp. before engaging the drive gear, after that it simply stalls. If the filter is clogged then the car would not start at all. Right? Please suggest. Thanks. check to see if your fuel filter is clogged..also might need a fuel pump
Many things can cause this symptom. A little problem on this car is that corrosion builds up inside the distributor cap and on the rotor. Remove the bolts holding on the cap with an 8mm socket or screwdriver. If there are heavy deposits of white corrosion on the 4 spark plug contacts they can be scrapped clean with a knife or the cap simply replaced. If replacing the cap, be sure to remove the wires carefully by twisting them out. Of course any of the common problems such as old spark plugs or wires, clogged air filter, etc, can be a probem. The 1983 through 1985 camrys all have an auxiliary fuel injector called a cold start injector designed to make starting easier. It can become clogged and fail to operate, or the the sensor that activates it can fail. This injector is located above the fuel rail and goes directly into the intake manifold. Under normal running conditions the cold start injector gets no voltage. It is energized only when starting and the engine temp is well below 95 degrees F. There is also an auxialliary air valve designed to admit more air during starting and warmup. It is located at the left side of the engine where the heater hoses come out. See a repair manual for locations of these items.
I am trying to find out the same answer...I've replaced the battery and it didn't change anything. I took it to a local Auto Parts store where they tested the starter and said it was fine. I've noticed mine started during cold weather, but from time to time has the same problem whether hot or cold. I also just replaced the Power Steering pump. Good luck! I love my 94 Celica!!
I do not have an answer but I also have a 1994 Toyota Camry that will not start and has no spark, I swapped out the ignition module to no avail, the distributor and rotor appear fine. Any help
You might try this website. http://www.toyotaownersonline.com/parts-service/diy.html
A 1988 Toyota Corolla might run well one day and rough another day because of temperature changes that cause the vehicle to have leaks in the seals or gaskets. This might also be due to bad gasoline purchased the second day or even water in the gasoline. A clogged fuel filter might even cause this issue.
Your best source is a Toyota dealership. A possible alternative 'might' be an auto recycling yard but removing an ignition harness on a modern car intact could be difficult.
You replace it. As long as you have the transmission out, you might as well put the clutch and pressure plate in also.
You need the fuse box.
Thermostat is stuck open.
There are many places one might go to purchase a 2013 Toyota Camry. In addition to the official Toyota website, one might also purchase a Camry from a dealership.
Sales on a Toyota Camry can be found on websites such as Cars for Sale or Car Sales. You might want to call your local Toyota dealer or pop into their store and ask if Toyota Camry is on offer.
It might, even models are a little different the windshield should be the same.
The panic alarm might not turn off in your Toyota Camry because of damaged or exposed wiring. You might also have a fuse that is damaged.
Your brake fuse might continue blowing in the 1995 Toyota Camry because you have a wire that is exposed and shorting out. You might also have an issue with the brake sensors.
You might want to buy one.
It might be the relay on its way out. Or might be nothing to worry about.
If your 1991 Toyota Camry is vibrating, the tires might be wearing unevenly. This could be due to parts that are worn in the front end or even from tires that are damaged.
