I believe that the two countries are the dutch and the french.This is true as the Dutch (from Holland or the Netherlands) colonized South Africa and probably some other countries on the African continent. The French (France) colonized the Ivory Coast, now called the Cote d'Ivoir.
Ethiopia and Sudan are the two African countries that were never under the colonial rule. Sudan is incorrect - it was an Anglo-Egyptian 'Condominium'. The other African country usually thought of as not under colonial rule is Liberia. (independent 1847).
