While living in Indonesia his goal was to not eat dog. Later when his mother mother moved to Hawaii he wanted to follow the teaching of his early mentor Frank Marshall Davis taught him some of the techniques of being a Community Organizer. Barack Obama began regular visits to Frank Marshall Davis' house at the age of 10, and Obama refers to Frank Marshall Davis throughout his autobiography as his childhood "mentor." Dreams from My Real Father makes the case that the Communist Party USA propagandist was Obama's ideological father, and likely indoctrinated Obama in Marxism during his formative years.
