I believe that in Ontario you have to be 13 or older to sit in the passenger seat.
some people say that it depends on how tall you are but I do not think so because
you could be short but you are 15.
In Ontario, Canada the law states ... Infants * Birth to 9 kg (20 lb.) * Rear-facing seat * Use away from an active airbag Toddlers * 9 to 18 kg (20-40 lb.) * Forward-facing seat * Use with a tether strap Pre-school to 8 years old * Between 18 and 36 kg (40-80 lb.) * Booster seat * Use with lap and shoulder belt No boster seat needs when any ONE fo the followin three conditions is met * child turns eight years old * child weighs 36 kg (80 lbs.) * child is 145 cm (4 feet 9 inches) tall. Other provinces may have different laws
2 years old because that's the age of independence
I live in Ontario and I believe it's 49 inches. But you should double check first.

You have to be 11
When they are under 13 years old.
12 years old.
6 and over
its 13 in Ontario.
In Michigan, a child 4 years of age may ride in the front seat of a vehicle if all other seats are taken by children under the age of 4. A rear-facing car seat can be placed in the front seat if the airbag is turned off.
In Georgia, a child has to weigh at least 40 pounds to sit in the front seat. If the child is under 8 years of age, he also must be restrained in a car or booster seat in order to ride in the front seat.
Children 12 and younger should sit in the back seat. So 13 and up for the front seat.
It is legal for any child of any age to ride in the front seat of any vehicle in Canada. There are no specific laws making this illegal. Transport Canada recommends turning off their airbag when possible and notes that the back seat would be safer. But since many vehicles, including pick up trucks without backseats and many sports cars, smart cars, etc, only have front seats, it's perfectly okay for any child to sit in the front, provided they are properly restrained and using the appropriate child safety seat.
the child should be at least 9 to ride in the front seat
In Ontario, it is legal for a child to sit in the front seat however the Government of Canada and more specifically, the Ministry of Transportation highly recommend that whenever possible, have a child sit in the back seat as it is the safest place.
I think it has to do with Height and Weight rather than age
at least when there ten.
its 13 in Ontario.
No, regardless of the child's age, a booster seat should NEVER be used in the front seat. An airbag can kill a child in the front seat if they are not tall enough and heavy enough to properly take the impact of the air bag.
I believe it's 49 inches. But you should double check first.
Your child should be 10 to sit in the front :-)
9
4'9 or 95 lbs
any height who cares
It doesn't tend to be illegal (of course that varies by state/country) but in the event of a collision, the child would be much safer in the back seat than in the front. Under no circumstances should a child in a rear facing booster seat be placed in the front seat as if the airbags deploy, the child will probably be killed.
