Check for air leaks at the intake or vacuum lines. Also a missing or loose oil fill cap can cause some cars to run funny.
The idling speed cannot be adjusted for fuel injected models. It is done by the ECU depending on inputs from various sensors. If the idling is erratic it is best if the car is taken to the vauxhall dealership who have testing equipment called TECH 2 which diagnoses the problem. Rough idling is whenever the vehicle's motor "misses" or does not fire causing an imbalance and a loss of rotation reducing the motor's power and causing excessive shaking.
Mapp sensor or you might need pugs and wires.
The most classic symptom is erratic or rough idling.
I had a similar problem. When i took it into the garage they told me that the head gasket had gone and it was mis-firing. It was completely destroyed and i had to replace the engine, so get it seen to fast.
well now, when trying to diagnose a problem or problems, you should probably take it to a professional, who is liscensed to diagnose a problem or problems. B series beouch
a dirty air filter or a dirty fuel filter will cause a diesel to smoke
My guess would be to look at the motor mounts to see if they are loose or broken.
Cracked Fly Wheel
My 1986 Honda Accord Dx just started idling rough and dieing at turns and stops it is a carburated 2.0 witha maunal transmission
you most likely have a horrible fuel sensory causing your car to be bad at idling. also you may hvae reved your engine to hard and that is causing it to idle.
usually the rough idling/running that clears when it comes on boost is caused by one of two things, firstly the AFM (Air Flow Metre) could be damaged...it sits directly behind the Airfilter/Airbox and connects to the Turbo inlet pipe. or The Lambda sensor is faulty
