Look at the TCC solenoid in the trans is going to be bad.
Check your fuel filter, this may be dirty.
have the front swaybar links replaced
the cam position sensor and ignition coil are inside the distributor. the crank position sensor is located on the bottom front of the engine, behind the belts on the left side.
battery needs replacing, make sure you replace it with a battery of correct cranking amps

I also own a 97 Ram 1500. Recently my headlights would go out when I tilted the steering wheel into the down position. I replaced the multi-switch (wipers, brights, turn signal) and the problem was solved.

The OBD code p1221 indicates a bad throttle position sensor. Sometimes cleaning the throttle body will clear this code. If that does not work the sensor will need to be replaced.
