Best Answer

The five largest countries affiliated with the Allies in World War 1 are the UK, Russia, France, Japan, and Italy. The United States was a large ally, but they're considered co-belligerent, rather than affiliated.

The tenacious treaties that held the powers of World War One together were strained from the beginning. Some of them were declaring neutrality to save from having to fight in the case of Denmark. The allies as declared during the war were, Britain, Russia, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium, United States only superficially, Canada, Siberia, India, Portugal, south Africa, Greece and Japan grudgingly.
